Comment:
Was not extremely compelling. Intelligent, but arrogant, and would often go into stories of all the famous people he's known. Assignments weren't always clear, but the class work was minimal. Often cut off students who would speak out against his personal stances on issues. Tended to play favorites. Class was bearable.

Doesn't teach - pontificates about his "greatness." Trouble is, the guy hasn't had a job or done much of anything since 1973, when he got pushed out of the FCC. Will decimate your grade if you fail to treat him like the legal god he thinks he is. Stay away.

avoid. patronizing arrogant windbag. ego beyond record. vindictive toward students he doesn't like or who piss him off. expects fealty from students. hasn't done anything of academic or professional substance in decades. will help you if you listen to his stories. you can learn what he has to give in other courses.

Had him for 2 classes - Cyberlaw and Law of Electronic Media, was a treat each time. He knows the material cold. It's true, he does give off a disgruntled hippie vibe, but that's because he's passionate about what he believes in. He wants the students to do the same and make a change in society instead of following the money.

Seems like he should be a nice guy, but the understated arrogance is unnerving. Way too much reading.

Too many old war stories about old buddies in high positions or Hollywood, but he probably means well. Seems so wrapped up in projects/politics that he's not available to students as much as other faculty members.

Comes off as nice, but when you have a problem, he's not there to help. Very conceited. Not at all clear. Goes off on tangents. Final test was ridiculous... those who got good grades on writing assignments did bad on test and vice versa.

Very good, clear discussions. One of the most friendly people in law school. An old hippie, but in a good way.
