I think his class is really manageable. I read the textbook and did the assignments right after so it was easy. For exams I did the practice problems. Watched all his lectures to see if he was going to mention something out of the text, theres a few questions like this on the exams. Overall, not a bad class. Do extra credit! Nice professor!!

Professor Lutz is extremely passionate about marketing. His lectures help a lot to understand the course concepts with real examples. There's a lot of reading, but if you set time apart to study for the exam and do practice exams, it should be an easy A.

Lutz is an amazing and very engaging professor, however, the lectures tend to be quite long, so I stopped attending. If you're taking a heavy course load like I was, it's essential to get SmokinNotes. The amount of information that one exam contains can be overwhelming, but if you study for about a week, you should get an A.

One of my favorite professors by far. The lectures are not boring at all and he provides many real life examples to make sure you understand the material. He's really funny and doesn't assign much work. The quizzes are sometimes on quizlet and for the final, make sure to study &review all the practice exams he provides. Would take this class again

My favorite class I've taken at UF so far. Dr. Lutz is the best; he makes content clear and easy to understand while keeping lecture entertaining. He uses lots of examples and jokes in his lectures so that it is easy to pay attention. He truly cares about your success. For exams I re-read all chapters and used his practice exams. Very doable!

Definition and textbook heavy, but well worth the read! Lutz has really wonderful lectures, and he makes the material very interesting. I actively enjoyed listening to his lectures.

If you can hold out to take Lutz for MAR3023 over the spring semester, DO IT. He has been teaching this class for 20+ years and his experience is insane. Very fun, older dude who made this class super enjoyable. Would take again and hope to take as many more classes with him as possible.

Dr. Lutz is such a nice guy and genuinely cares for his students. His lectures are long but they are entertaining and packed with examples for each term. Smokin notes helps a lot for studying for exams and there are a lot of opportunities for extra credit! As long as you watch the lectures you should do well.

Dr. Lutz is one of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are enjoyable and you really learn a lot. The exams are very dense but if you get the smokin notes, watch all the lectures and do all the learnsmarts, you will pass with a good grade. Take advantage of this class. I say it again, he is an AMAZING professor.

Great class taught by a great professor. Maybe the best that I have had. There are only 3 exams that account for nearly 85% of your grade. Most of the material comes from the lecture, but be sure to read all of the chapters because they will be on the test as well. Also, be sure to review the practice exam, they are very helpful for the exam.

Dr. Lutz is one of the most compassionate professors I have had at UF. He truly cares about his students and tries his hardest to help us get a good grade. Do the extra credit, look over the Smokin' Notes, watch the lectures, and this class will be an easy A for sure. Definitely take MAR 3023 with Dr. Lutz!

One of the best professors at UF. Amazing lecturer and makes the course interesting and fun. 32 1 pt-grades and three exams with potential of 5 bonus points so make sure you do them. I would recommend do a practice exam each day near the test because questions follow a similar pattern. Besides that, just read over notes and txtbk and should get A!

Professor Lutz is the best professor I have had at UF. His lectures are very engaging and funny. He really cares about his students and wants you to do well in his class. Dr. Lutz is the best professor I have had at UF! He is so kind and genuinely cares about his students. He also has lots of jokes and is really funny. I went to every live lecture and read through Smokin Notes for the exams. I thought the class was an easy A, but others thought it was hard. I would HIGHLY recommend going to lecture!!!

Dr. Lutz was one of my favorite professors. The grading scale is tight for an A or A- but it is definitely doable. Recommend using Smokin' Notes. Exams were ok. Make sure you use your 2 appeals on each exam, I got questions back because of appeals. Do every HW assignment, quiz and the 5 points of extra credit because it can make a difference.

One of my favorite professors ever. Very intelligent and keeps up to date with marketing information. This class confirmed why I chose Marketing as a major. Go to the lectures if you can. Take notes of the LearnSmarts. Do all the practice exams a couple of times over. 3 tests, non-cumulative. Funny and entertaining lectures.

He's easily the best professor that I have had so far at UF. His lectures are extremely interesting and he gives extra credit opportunity. His exams aren't easy but if you know the material then you'll be fine. I recommend getting the Smokin Notes, reading everything & memorizing the definitions. Do the practice exams he gives!!!!!

My favorite professor at UF. He made this class so enjoyable, was extremely funny, and is a really great teacher. Exams aren't easy but they aren't too bad. He is one of the best professors at UF.
