I absolutely loved Professor Smith! Very down to earth educator that clearly cares about his student's future. He doesn't make it easy and I respect that about him. As long as you follow his instruction and WATCH THE VIDEOS provided, you will succeed.

Charles is a real gem at UHD. Expect to learn what he teaches you and laugh along the way. He was easily the best professor I have had at UHD. Tests are tough, the classes are good, and you will learn.

First, watch all the videos he has. You need to! Second, take your time, he knows what you've watched and how long you took. Every question you have is in the videos. So he wont answer unless youve watched it. This class is not for you if you do not want to put the study time. Easy A if youre not lazy.

This professor is one of the best professors. Lectures are recorded from years ago, but they WORK! If you do not follow directions or WATCH THE VIDEOS you will not pass. He gives YOU EVERYTHING to pass. Although the test are a bit inconvenient (printing, scanning) its an easy class. If you are lazy and don't put your part, don't take the class.

Professor Smith spent most of his time during class telling stories about his personal life. All of his lectures are recorded videos from previous years and there are a lot of videos. You get one hour to take his exams. You need to print out the exam, work it, scan it in to him, PDF format, all within the hour. I do not recommend this class.

he made mistakes grading my finals by under grading me. I called him right away to check and review (the moment he put the grades up), he said I am out of town which was a lie. he did this on purpose because he disliked me of being intelligent and asking too many challenging questions in class. after official review I got my A instead of B. fake!

He will make simple things super complicated! When you take a test, you will have to download the pdf version of the test from BB, print it, take the test on the paper, scan it, convert it to PDF, and then finally upload it to submit. All of these in that 1 hour timeframe! Why not just make it simple like 99.99% of other Professors??

His video lectures are great but there are a LOT of them. Be prepared to spend a lot of time watching lectures. He will let you use any version of the text book so you can find an old copy for a few dollars. BUT he never types anything. Literally, everything he gives you is hand written and scanned.

This was the best professor Ive had had UHD. I loved the way he taught how to use the financial calculator on his videos, which made the class a lot easier. Yes you have to print, work, then scan the tests, but Id rather do that than lockdown browser. I made an A and Im trash at math.

Here's the thing, he really isn' a bad professor. He is funny, and for the most part if you give him a call, he will talk with you. Pro: Fairly easy Lecture videos Cons: Must print test out, work test, scan test back in a PDF form, and take the test on the hour. As you can see, if you do not have the following tools, you will not pass this class.

The already-challenging material is made more difficult to understand by his teaching style. He talks in circles, includes irrelevant info that does more to confuse you than help you understand. This prof is better for students who have ample time to re-watch his lessons or are already strong in finance. Cute personality but ineffective teaching.

I took the mini summer class, I was very nervous at first and did not know what to expect, long story short I am very glad I took Dr Smith. He really cares about his students and gives life advice and yes he is older but that also makes him wiser Respected by many and for good reason. Take him and soak up his knowledge. His videos taught me well

I took this class as a summer mini. The professor is very direct in his goals and objectives and the amount of work you need to put into the class. Math is not my best subject but the professor does a great job on explaining the topics on his lectures. Yes, his handwriting can be tricky, but he's a great teacher. Higher grade had I put more effort.

Professor Smith was truly an enjoyable experience. All of the material you need to know, including any homework or test problems, are clearly explained and worked out during the many video lectures he provides. While at first it may seem difficult to navigate, it is as simple as "watch the videos and practice" Great Professor, really seems to care!

He is a caring professor and definitely teaches you lessons about life. The only problem with him is that he writes down his syllabus and you can barely read his handwriting. You need to purchase a finance calculator. You need to watch his lecture videos. 3 exams and 2 hw assignments.

course only consists of 3 tests inc. final & 3 homeworks. Tests are difficult but just like his reviews w/diff. numbers. Homework is graded super easy so if test scores are lower, homework offers an extra cushion for grade. He's always able to talk on the phone if you have questions and is very passionate about impacting students.

Very good professor. He provides the lecture videos and it is up to you to learn from that, but he does a very good job explaining. He also works examples from past tests, which are *hint hint* pretty close to the real tests. Homework is not too bad. He gives great tips about money and life as well. Only downside is that his writing is illegible.

LOVE him, by far one of the best business professors at UHD. Hes very clear with what he wants and whats going to be expected on the exams. He gives reviews for all exams and reviews are just like the exams. This was my second time taking him (took him for Business Fin. & Real Estate) and I definitely do not regret it. WATCH THE VIDEOS!

Alright. Here's the deal. Pro's and cons Pros: He was very practical, and didn't teach you things that he knew would be useless to you in life. Cons: His entire syllabus is written in pencil, and scanned in. Very Archaic man. He is extremely old and croaks when he talks; makes it a little hard to understand. Changes his requirements every week.
