Comment:
Dr. Keller has a lot of knowledge and cares about his students however he's not a constructive teacher. The class is unnecessarily long and each week you turn in your 3 best photos to critic in class. He bases photography grades almost solely on his personal opinion so prepare to feel a bit frustrated. He likes to tell random stories a lot

Dr. Keller is probably the worst professor I have had. His study guides for tests do not prepare you for the material on the tests and tests are worth 75% of the grade. All he does is lecture and is of no real help to learn the material.

Attendance is part of your grade. He's a very kind and accommodating professor, especially to kids with disabilities. His lectures can sometimes be dry but there are certainly some that are very interesting. He gives lots of opportunity for extra credit as well. His tests are worth 75% of your grade so make sure you use the study guides.

Study guides, images of places and naked people, now that's ART 101. If you have a good memory, and enjoy getting 90's on tests, take the class. Lot's of memory work, but the reward is worth the work, you'll learn a lot about western history too. Try to get as much extra credit as you can, I didn't, and didn't make a hundred in the class like I cul

Dr. Keller is a very educated man and he lets you know it. He can been very helpful if you can handle his condescending tone. However, he can be very helpful at times so do not ignore his experience or love of art due to his mannerism.

Dr.Keller is one of the least helpful, least organized men I have ever met. Our tests were returned so we could not study for the comprehensive final. On top of that, the tests were impossibly hard and had typos galore, but they were done online in the testing lab so he wasn't even there to clarify. Too bad this class was required for my major.

Dr. Keller is quite the Renaissance man, and is extremely talented in many different outlets of art. He can offer a lot of good advice, and is willing to offer his services unselfishly to those truly seeking help. He expects students to study and be willing to put forth the effort, and can inspire those willing to do so. A great Christian teacher!

More difficult that should have been, but not impossible. On the occasions I talked to him, he was nice and willing to help me out. Don't take him for art apprec. if you can help it though- I enjoy art, and I hated the class. It was only about names and time periods. If you have him, try to make flashcards with artist, title, and time periods.

This man was incredibly mean to me. I've been in the art program for 5 years. He had the gall to ask if I would rather do Arts and Crafts! He never would help me understand a helpful order to take classes. I still don't understand how he got to be head of the Dept.
