I loved having Quigley as a prof. He definitely makes you work for a good grade, but I learned a lot -- so it was a very rewarding experience. He's a wonderful human being and is so kind, smart, and really supportive. Just do the readings, take notes, participate, and you'll do well. Highly suggest taking this class with him, just don't slack off!

Prof. Quigley is not accessible outside class. He doesn't respond emails, always need to send a follow up. WSJ quizzes on Thursday's are very specific and you don't get enough time to finish them.

Loved this class this semester! Felt like we were learning great material. Could be a little repetitive but that might just be because of ongoing themes in the course. He believes strongly in tests. The kind that are almost too long to finish and everybody is still writing when the time is up. If you have exam anxiety, it might not be for you.

Honestly, I would take every com class with Quigley if we could. He is such an inspiring dude and his classes are actually engaging. If you're lucky to get into his class, they fill up so quickly, you are in for a real treat. I learned so much about corporate culture and how culture applies to real life organizations. Beware of weekly WSJ quizzes.

The internship for credit with Prof. Quigley is great, and I 100% recommend it over PR Lab. It's easier to fit into your schedule, and the final paper (10-15 pages) isn't hard to write as long as you had an interesting internship.

Prof. Quigley is one of my favorite professors at BU. He has a lot of industry knowledge from spending many years in the private sector. His class isn't difficult, but be sure to study the study guides carefully and pay attention in lecture. He uses a lot of current events and real companies as examples. Great guy and a great class!

This guy is far and away the best professor I have ever had at BU. He has a sharp PR mind, although his political analysis isn't as impressive as I think it could be - simply because I don't think he follows it more than on a cable news level. His assignments are reg, and actually really interesting. Not too much work, just follow news & do reading

Professor Quigley is an incredibly engaging and passionate teacher. He wants his students to do well, and meeting with him during his office hours can go a long way. He definitely makes you work for it, and the class can be more difficult if you don't have a business background (I didn't) but you will learn and grow significantly from it.

His exams are fairly straightforward, all short answers. The tests draw a lot from examples & case studies. Lectures can drag on a bit, but usually they're interesting. Homework assignments are pretty involved so don't wait until the last minute to start them. Good lecturer. Valuable material. Great class if you're considering going into corp. comm

Professor Quigley was hands-down the best COM professor I've had thus far at BU! His class made me feel more intelligent and although he did assign a decent amount of work, if you put in the time (which isn't THAT much) you can easily get an A. Definitely take corporate communications with Quigley this class made my view of communications clearer.

Although Prof Quigley is an excellent resource and lecturer, he assigns an unimaginable amount of work. He is unorganized and grades extremely harshly. The semester-long blog project is a huge endeavor that you have to work on while completely 4 other homework projects, a midterm, and a final.

I was very excited about this new class, but it turned out to be greatly disappointing. I have worked with a lot of new media and wanted to know more about it but Quigly's glass was boring and anyone who knows anything about social media would fall asleep in this class, but attendance was mandatory. Quigly's a nice guy but don't take this class.

Already reviewed Quigs before, and just when I thought he couldn't get any better, I took his corporate comm class. It was by far the best class I've ever taken at BU. He challenges you, but the class makes you so much smarter. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH QUIGLEY.
