Professor Evans has lectures every class and they can be boring at times, but he tries to find ways to make them more fun. There are 3 tests the whole year, and 4 papers which he grades very lenient. He also accepts late work no matter the reason. Overall a great professor.

Very clear expectations on what to write for his interpretation papers which are rather fun to write. His tests are rather easy if you study your notes and the review he gives you. His tests are multiple choice, and everything on the tests is exactly from the review which is nice.

Hes basically Bill-Nye-The-Science guy for humanities. He's really passionate about everything hes trying to teach, I just think people need to be more open for his jokes and stories because they are all related, no matter how "lame" some people might think he is, it actually helps. Tests super easy & follow essay instructions exactly, youll be ok

One of the easiest professors I have had thus far. Can sometimes get off topic but not for long. He'll try to find a way to relate information to real objects or things. He is pretty funny at times with his corny joke. Had to write very little papers and the ones you did write were short.

Awful professor. I honestly would have preferred him to teach over his attempts to be funny. He knows what he is talking about, but it gets lost in his "humor." His essay prompts are extremely ambiguous and he gives really terrible feedback. Don't expect to learn anything.

So i took professors Evans class because of all the good reviews..and I definitely regret it. I haven't missed a class, I take notes and pay attention, and I'm struggling to make an A. His papers are SO unclear. His tests are easy but you have to come to class to get the material. He's not helpful when you ask what you can do to improve.

this guy is chill. tries to make things funny and entertaining. lets face it, history can bore a lot of us. light grader. i got a B or A in all the papers. doesnt remind you when stuff is due but comon ya stooge its college not hs. try reading the rubric. study your notes WELL and you'll do fine on exams. He's a B+ standing professor.

A fun teacher. Took the summer session and his papers were easy if you follow the format he gives you exactly and for the tests he gave you a study guide. I would recomend people to take him. Only bad thing was he is difficult to get a hold of.

I signed up for his class because of all these good reviews I read about him. But he turned out to be a little different... He is not easily accessible, he is not clear in his expectations, I didn't think he was funny. If you try hard to succeed in his class, there is no guarantee you will get what you deserve. His tests were out of nowhere.

The prof was pretty interesting he tried to make the class fun. You have to read the syllabus bc he does not remind you when papers are due and does not explain to well on what he wants but is not a strict grader. Tests are easy if you take notes. I def recommend him. Over all was a good and easy class.

Great teacher. Took him for a three hour night class which I thought was going to be terrorizing but he kept it very FUN AND UPBEAT! He related the material to subject matter anyone could understand. I learned A LOT in this class. DEF RECOMMEND!! :)

He has a great sense of humor. I liked his teaching style. He puts up notes and for the test you just have to study the notes and you'll earn an A. Some of the books you don't even really have to read much or as in depth because he has the notes up for you and explains what you need to know.
