DO NOT... DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH KRAMER! He does NOT have powepoints and if they are, they're pictures. I am a visual learner so I have to see it and 95% of Kramer's lectures are oral. Take his class at your own risk.

If you have to take Anthro 110, take Dr. Kramer. The class can get boring at times, just because he doesn't use powerpoint or any other visual aids and the lecture hall is stuffy. Don't waste your money on the book. Do, however, go to class and do the extra credit. Clicker points and extra credits really add up and can save you. Overall good class.

Honestly the best teacher I've had at UT so far. Don't buy the textbook, because the tests are straight from lectures. You'll have to study for the tests, but he always does a review session and they're very helpful. He's really funny and incredibly insightful, take him if you can.

Great lecturer, gives lots of extra credit, his review sessions before each test are very helpful. Don't bother buying a textbook, the tests are directly from the lectures. Dr. Kramer is an amazing teacher and keeps each class session interesting. You'll learn to love monkeys. Clickers are required!

He's a great teacher, as long as you go to class you should make a good grade, I got an A never even took notes. But if you must, he talks fast so learn to write quickly. He's a great speaker and his lectures are extremely interesting, and he kinda sounds like George Clooney. DO THE EXTRA CRED IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE.They time-consuming but worth it

Andrew Kramer is possibly the best lecture teacher I have ever had. At first I thought he was overrated, but after a month or so I really began to realize how effective his teaching style is. He's very conversational, and explains difficult concepts with extreme clarity. I began going to class because I wanted to, not because I had to. AWESOME!!!!!

Take this class! It's such an easy non-lab science. It's very straight-foward and pretty interesting. He's very sarcastic and funny, so it keeps things fun. The tests are straight from lecture, and the book is optional.

Best professor I've ever had. Explains difficult material SO clearly - listening to him is like listening to a story being told. Sounds cheesy, but he is inspiring. I found myself writing down anecdotes he told us, just so I could reread them later. He is that cool

I can't believe anybody would write something bad about this teacher. He made Charles Darwin sound cool and he gives plenty of opportunity for you to get a good grade. The classes are huge so attendance isn't mandatory but if you want a good grade you need to go. Don't even buy the textbook!

Kramer is a great teacher. He gives 3 extra credit opportunities. Tests are fairly easy. Achieving a (B) should be fairly easy if you go to class and take notes. Kramer is funny, real, and fairly unbiased for what he has to teach.

I think he rubs some people the wrong way, but I didn't have a problem with him at all. I thought class was interesting and not overly difficult. To do well though you definitely need to go to the lectures. Study sessions he held were nice too.
