From what i hear he is a very hard teacher in his "real" accounting classes. But if you have to take him for ACC 330, do it! This class has no tests, no textbook, and no homework. He gives out a sheet at the beginning with a list of projects and due dates. As long as you do it the way he asks, you get a 100. I had a 97 average in the class.

I thought he was awesome, you just have to pay attention. The people that give him bad reviews probably expected a class where you get by doing no work and not showing up to class. He drills the examples in class so you understand the material. I got an A in the class and I thought he was amazing.

This class is INTENSE. Dr. Bean is clear cut on what he expects from his students however you will find out that he is extremely arrogant and rude to the students in the class. We pay for Dr. Bean to come there and teach not wasting my time by going off on his little tangents discouraging the moral of the entire class.

I took him for financial accounting. He is by far one of the worst teachers i've ever had at Iona. He makes his tests impossible and assumes you know everything... when obviously you don't if your taking the class. I think it makes him happy to make his class impossible because no one passes and he finds this funny. HORRIBLE!

Ok he is not an easy teacher. Do not take him! first test ok easy, second one forget it all multiple choice nothing like the hw. We all studied allot and did bad! short classes however, lets you out like 20 min earlier. He is nasty to everyone, keeps telling you to drop the class and that you are failing. Take walker or someone else, easy take home

mostly my whole class is doing horrible..on the verge on failing..he doesnt explain anything and rushed through the lesson when he shouldnt b/c then maybe students would actually pass and get good grades!! he has such a bad attitude during class it puts u in a bad mood as well..he doesnt care if u pass or fail and puts everyone down all the time

OMG horrrrriblllllllleeeee, my class started out with 20+ kids and ended up with 10 in the end. we all got C,D or F's. I had a meltdown during the final and cried my eyes out, he gave me a D which suckkkedddd. Everyone hated him. Took him for advanced accounting and is by far the best teacher iona can offer in accounting. he made sure you understood what he was talking about or did not move on to anything new. his tests were easy. if u dont ask questions you wont do well. best teacher ever. i got an a. so it is possible if you not a slacker/idiot like most students are.

Great professor but he hates tardiness (he would rather you not come then be late. If you pay attention in class and do homework you shouldn't have problems with his class. He reviews every homework he hands out and gives a answer sheet to it. Relates everything to apples and oranges. Final is the exact problems from the homework.
