Comment:
I don't think there was a class that I have been more confused in. Elias is a very kind professor, however her teaching style was the reason that I ultimately withdrew from the class. That being said, if you have enough Spanish knowledge beforehand, you will do fine.

Dr. Elías is such an authentic person. She made me feel very comfortable around her, which helped me feel more confident in speaking Spanish. We didn't regularly get our grades back, so I never knew what I had in the class until the end of the semester, which I wasn't a fan of. Otherwise, she's very knowledgeable, down to earth, and kindhearted.

Elías is great. Super caring, funny, wants you to succeed. She can be a little vague in her teaching sometimes, but will always bend over backwards to help you when you ask. Loved her class, one of the kindest professors I've had so far and made Spanish fun and interesting. Especially if you have a background in other Spanish classes, def. take!

Leonor is an absolute gem, I thought she was a great teacher that was very knowledgeable and engaging. Her class is fair if you do the work. She is also extremely caring and wants to see her students succeed. I would absolutely take another class from her in the future, she really helped me find my love for Spanish again.

This course is also known as intermediate Spanish 1. She was a great prof. Always explained things if you didn't understand, gave assignments that helped you improve. Lots of speaking exercises. She was born in Mexico, so she knows her stuff. Also, she is very friendly and approachable. I have had many great conversations with her- in english!

She has a lot of energy, is down to earth, very patient, and funny. I never fell asleep in class. She was my favorite teacher this semester. There was homework, but not too much. Study for tests and it's great!

I took intermediate spanish 1. Prof. Elias is very nice. It is basically just a review of everything you've ever learned in spanish, there's oral presentations and the tests are pretty hard.It was a difficult class for me, but I really learned a lot.

Man, if I had the capacity to memorize children's stories and bible verses I would have been a liberal arts major. I should not be graded on my memorization skills in a foreign language class.
