Learned a lot! First half of semester was stat lectures & open-note quizzes; second half was projects. Saniga improved from past years by giving project examples & software guide & reducing the workload. Emails back quickly, knows his stuff, sometimes declines to answer questions about projects. Work hard & rewatch lectures to take detailed notes.

If you are a hard working student that understands basic math/statistics, you will be fine!! His problems are practical, quizzes are similar to examples (make sure you understand HOW to do the problems though), and projects are relatively easy but time consuming. Attend lectures, choose a good partner, ask questions, and you'll be set!

Terrible professor. So vague. Very stressful being in his class. Would not recommend.

Professor Saniga definitely knows a lot about his field, but is not the best at teaching it to students. He preaches quality and professionalism, but his notes are always messy and makes mistakes on every problem - leaving students to be confused on assignments and projects. There are a lot of projects so make sure you get a good partner.

No doubt... the worst professor I have had in my 3.5 years here at UD. I do not know how this man has a job still. I understand times are tough with online learning, but I doubt he would even be able to teach in a classroom. He cannot use technology, he cannot explain the material, he cannot explain assignments, he simply cant do this.

By far the WORST professor I have taken at UD. He does not know how to teach and never finishes examples he shows us for new concepts. Expects us to "already know this because you guys are smart". He doesn't give proper directions for any of his projects. Also can't work with technology even if his life depended on it. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Unfortunately, Dr. Saniga does not communicate clearly. Notes are scattered and too brief with details left unexplained. There is no grading criteria, leaving you to work extra hard to anticipate what he is seeking for projects. Struggled with technology at various points. I appreciated relevant assignments, but he is not a great professor.

Ok so there's a project EVERY WEEK. and you're with the same group all semester- so pick smart people at the get go. The projects are difficult and he doesn't give you a rubric or any sort of guidance on what he wants but takes off major points for the most random stuff. Quizzes are open note so we all helped each other out but they're still hard.

Dr. Saniga is by far the worst professor I have taken at UD and I have no clue how he is still a teacher here. He is rude, has terrible (almost nonexistent) assignment instructions, and gives horrendous explanations of course material through slides. It was so frustrating being left in the hands of this dope during my senior year. Should be fired.

Great class but I have to agree that he is incredibly rude, especially when he first meets you. I think it's a sort of intimidation tactic since you work with a client and need to be professional, but he could have chilled a bit. Not sure how he's named a professor of Information Technology at all since he always struggles with using his computer.

This is a project based course, which is great considering he's a real consultant. He is extrememly rude to students, immediately insulted us, and constantly interrupts. He's incredibly picky with what he wants, but extremely unclear with guidelines. He was the only option for this class when Murphy was pulled from teaching it. I MISS HER.

Dr. Saniga tries his best to find faults with every facet of your work. He is old-fashioned and reliant on "Best practices" in an industry that is certainly not one-size-fits-all. Taking this class made me wish I was not a MISY minor

If you want practicality with theory thrown in to prove your point, Saniga's your guy. Many contacts throughout local industry; you should strive to get in his good graces to latch onto these contacts. Good grades if you put in the work and show the measurements...but he doesn't check the data closely. Some classmates were able to blow smoke.

Be prepared to do stat all semester! Not too bad tho, still much better than MATH201 or 202. Nice guy, teaches the material pretty well. No tests, just lots of homeworks and quizzes which are all open note. Class flies by because you're constantly doing problems - Definitely reccomend!

Easy grader and everything is open note. The only thing i didn't like was that he called on people in class, but other than that, he's very cool. Kinda looks like Captain Picard

Cuts through mumbo-jumbo and BS. Very proof and results oriented. Theory's fine as along as it's applicable. Knows his stuff but doesn't beat you over the head with it.
