Comment:
One of my best professors so far. I found him to be very fair and helpful throughout the online class. The projects and amount of work weren't overwhelming, and he presented plenty of material for us to focus to prepare for the tests.

Professor Boland is a great professor who truly teaches the "boringest" material on computer architecture there is. I LOVE Professor Boland because of 2 things- His dedication to teach this subject and relay it well and his paper box briefcase! That's totally classic.

Tim is great- he does a really good job of teaching some of the most boring, uninteresting, and basically useless material ever. This class (not the teacher) is a definate 'weeder-outer' of a class; it gets rid of the non-hackers. But, in that major you gotta take it- under those circumstances, Tim is THE MAN.

The material is hard and Prof. Boland's teaching style is a bit dry. However, he is very clear, patient, and flexible. He appropriately sets expectations and really cares about students learning the material. If you need help, don't hesitate to go to him early. He's a good teacher.

This class could be a killer! But Boland takes a hard text and dumbs it down. Only wanted us to memorize the key points. He tells you *exactly* what is on the test...just study that and you will be fine.

Gives pre-test brief with answers but expects pages of memorization. TooMuchWork
