Easy A, Im not a math person by any means. just be diligent with math lab, right out your hw, get the extra credit. Got all solid B's on the tests but got an A because I did all the hw online. Don't need the book, just go to class, hard to stay awake in his class, but I also had him @ 8am on Monday mornings.

He is not easy. Sometimes he is hard to understand but he really knows his stuff. I went into this class scared because of all the negative reviews. I was able to get an A by just reading the book and doing all the assignments. JUST PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO HIS CLASS!

This class was really hard. Make sure you do all the homework. If you don't do it on time he accepts late homework The final is based off of the three test throughout the year which is nice. He has alot of extra credit He's a sweet guy and has a tutor you can go to for extra help. I'm pretty sure he's the easiest 118 math professor so i'd take him.

Dr. Kutz is the best Professor! I learned so much in his Linear Algebra class! He is very fair and a nice guy. Not to mention, he is also hilarious! This class is not a breeze, it does require a lot of studying and a lot of time. Do all of the homework and you will be more than ready for the exams. I highly recommend taking Dr. Kutz!

He's NOT as hard as everyone says he is. If you do the online homework and use it to your advantage, you can pass with a decent grade. Although he goes a little fast, he's still a NICE guy and very sweet. I'd say this class was challenging but passable.

Anyone who says that Prof. Kutz is hard, is not prepared to be in college. He goes over EVERYTHING right before the test, he gives SO much bonus that is SO simple to do, and his tests are exactly what he taught. If you know how to be a student, this professor is an easy easy easy easy A. There are people in the class with an average over 100!!!

He's super easy and gives out lots of opportunity for extra credit! He's a little confusing but all homework is on mathlab and that clears up a lot of confusion. the tests are easy and he always gives you back your actual grade in the class with each test so you always know exactly how you are doing in the class

Really nice guy, does his best to make things as clear as possible. hes kinda boring, talks softly, kinda stutters. he wants everyone to pass, this class was soooooooo easy, only had to do about 20 or 30 mins in every week, and got an A. im takin him again, and highly recommend him.

nice guy, but not such a great teacher.. studders and mumbles a lot.. it was hard to pay attention to him.. he would skip around a lot in the lecture, or do things wrong and have to restart the problem he was trying to teach .. tests are hard and does not justify with giving partial credit ..i would NOT recommend for any math class!

Simple tests once a week - 6 questions. The rest of the work was on mathlab (online). He could have explained some concepts differently, but overall he isn't a bad teacher and will help you if you need it. I went into class late once (missed it entirely - a test date too) and he let me take the test anyway. I didn't show up on non-test days.

Great teacher, tough subject. I have him for Calc 2. He gives massive amounts of homework and gives you a grade on it but it is all useful in the end because the tests are easier then what he assigns on a nightly basis.

Kutz is a nice man but he is a little out there. He tends to mumble a lot and does not say things clearly. If you are not good at math do not take him because he goes over the material quickly. In class its just him and the board which makes it boring. His lack of entheusiasm requires you to learn the material on your own and he gives lots of hmwrk

not very good over all only b/c I feel he just doesn't care about math anymore. didn't know trig. identities which is basic. and grading system is highly subjective theres no justification for any points he takes off. don't be affraid to confront b/c this is the biggest prob. with him!!!!!!

Dr. Kutz was my favorite professor this semester. He's a really nice man. I took both MAT 105 and MAT 106 back to back. It was a lot of work, but i learned alot. If you're going to take both classes back to back with Kutz, be prepaired to dedicate a lot of time toward h/w, but as long as you keep on top of it, you'll do fine.

All education majors have to take this class and 106 and i took both with Kutz. He explains everything that you need to know and asks if there are questions every day if you dont understand something. All the homework isn't due until the day of each exam and final is made up of questions from the tests. Got an A in both and i hate math.

Hes a really nice guy but he is a horrible teacher. i had to drop the class because he was so hard to understand. if you are horrible at math dont take him, if you like math dont take him hes just terrible.i was so lost and had no idea what was going.Hes big on homwork and test and impossible to pass.
