Comment:
The professor is nice, but the grade you get depends on the TA. If you have Brian Booth, drop the course. He gives ridiculous reasons for taking points off, and marks some people harsher than others. Absolutely ridiculous marker! He's just a grad student, but it's harder to make him listen to your side than a full-time professor.

Fred's got a great sense of humour. Very easy marker. I'm a fob and still pulled an A. If English is your first language there's no reason why you cannot get an A+.

Distance ed - Never saw him ever. TA's had bad attitudes. Didn't respond to WEB CT and didn't even give us their SFU emails. Class is not for anyone who doesn't have programming background.

nice prof :) always happy and has interest in what hes teaching. email him questions, he will answer them and try to help you as much as possible. TAs don't help, they gave a bad attitude. His lectures are from the courseware, he makes questions and does his own examples showing you step by step so you can do the hw. good prof! :)highly recommend h

Distance version. Course materials are fairly well written. Assignments are exceedingly easy, especially if you've taken another programming course and have done web design. TAs don't check WebCT, but are fairly quick at responding to email. The suggested pacing of the course is a bit off, as the bulk of the reading and work are in the final weeks.

Well... he is a good prof I guess, I took the class for a grade booster and the only problem with his teaching that I had is that he constantly threw in his biasisms into the lecture, everything from the US to Windows.

He was a good prof- very interested in the course. The lectures were well prepared but he moved on with material very quickly-it was somehow hard to keep up-midterm was very easy-but the final-a wake up call.

He doesn't really know how to verbally teach materials in an organized way though his PP slices r well formed. Don't feel learning much from lec but reading the study guide. The exams were too theory focused as it's anyways a CMPT science course(Not enough programming Qs) Don't like having a big assig. due on the very last day of the semester!

What I saw in his lecture, this teacher really don't know how to use computer. However, he is teaching computer course... One more thing, if you not really master on the subject which u taking.. or you never take this subject before.. you better don't take this teacher, his hw, assignment, mid-term and exam is extremely hard!
