He is a great professor. If you are a international student who have never taken any classes in the US, I strongly recommand you to take Professor Robinson's class. Because he would upload files that tells you how to write in business style, how to do a case analysis properly, etc. It is really helpful for new students. ps: Participation matters!!!

He assumes that everyone could instantly understand his hints. He uses his own logic and ignores others which made him quite disrespectful and arrogant. Basically, if u feel that u are not on the same page with this professor, drop it, or u will suffer from his attitude. His class material is useful though.

MBA267. Fantastic course lecturer, one of the best I have had in my life. Sure, the papers and midterm are graded pretty strictly but who cares? At the end of the day you are here to learn not to earn free A's. Very approachable professor too who gives fantastic career and life advice.

Fantastic professor! Took him for UGBA 167. He's strict but fair. Doing the reading (cases), coming to class, and participating is a MUST, but you can mostly skip the textbook. Don't expect an 'easy A' but if you're honestly interested in the material and willing to put in some time, MOST DEFINITELY take this class!

We all thought he was the worst teacher even the first day-week of class. But he does this to get out the students who are not serious. Then he is funny, helpful and approachable. Needless to say I took him twice. If you are smart and contribute to class he will recognize you and be a great ally in both your future education & business endeavor

Arrogant, rude, disrespectful, subjective.. Did I mention that he is arrogant, rude and disrespectful? He does not give you credit unless it is exactly as he thinks.. I put "sorta interested" because I went into the class with high hopes, but this guy really destroyed the subject for me.

never went to class found it pointless, lectures were extremely boring. everything you need to know is put up on power points but the three tests he administers have 100 questions so no matter how much you study a lot of questions seem unfamiliar. he curves a lot and provides three assignments that are worth 10 % pretty easy course overall

Encourage interactions in class. Students need to participate in class and play a part in steering the direction of discussions of the class. Textbook is not used in class at all as he encourages independent study.

He knows exactly what he wants from his students, and he will make it crystal clear through his instructions & emails. Follow guidelines, listen in lecture and be the bigger person, and you will do well in his classes. Bad professor but humorous and excellent instructor. Not for the weak hearted.

Comment:
UGBA10 is an annoying class with a cruel curve in and of itself, but Robinson is a good professor. Exam questions are fair, although very specific, because he wants to guarantee students go to lecture: not very good for slackers. He hates beating around the bush, but as long as you're clear with questions, he will provide very useful answers.

Must go to lecture, his test questions are very annoying and tests on things he says in class that arent on lecture slides or in the book. I fell asleep alot in class and i suffered from those questions. after the test, over like 10 of the problems were just random things he said.. extremely harsh curve, so each point is crucial.
