Comment:
Handed over the teaching to the students via way too much group work. Likeable but it was almost like she was trying too hard to be likable and because of this class discussions were endless tangents and often pointless. Took forever with marking.

If you are a white, straight, Christian, middle-class guy, by the time your course with Ms Engel is over, you'll feel as if it's the end of the WW2 and you are to blame for the genocide. In other words, your sort is guilty for everything bad that has ever happened to women, gays, minorities, and everybody, and YOU are guilty too without a trial

Very good professor. Teaches enlish the way it should be taught. I struggled in high school, from bad instruction, and disliked english in general, because of all the useless words and sentences added to essays that got those students 100%. Dr. Mo encourages clear commmunication opposed useless vague content (as in high school).

Great expert, but has no tolerance whatsoever; for example, if you say 1 good thing about capitalism, you are finished.

She expects alot but is willing to help. Her clas involves many interesting disscussions. She can be a little political but I did not find it offensive or that it took anything away from this course and I'm a guy from the sticks.

Great prof but she's so political;not everybody in the world is pro-Marxist. Why wouldn't she emigrate to Cuba? Seems like a great place for her. Other than that, a superb teacher!

ANGRY YOUNG MEN are dead,ANGRY YOUNG WOMEN rule.Don't even think of taking this course if you're not an angry feminist yourself, regardless if you are male or female.I'm female for example, and I say that the Arts dept is organized into a system in which women have advantage over men.Sound familiar?

I don't have a problem with her syllabus; she's the instructor. I don't like th she's not frank: why doesn't she declare herself a hardcore feminist and say that we'll be focusing on that exclusively? This way it appears that h-c feminism is mainstre

Comment:
Well, all Mo's doing is making her male students read feminist works all the time just like her male instructors probably made her read non-feminist stuff all the time. Fair and square-struggle for survival. Feminists are simply overpowering...
