I took this class as an undergrad. Not a class you can breeze through, but not impossible either. She is amazing and ensured all of us were concentrated even during the 8-10:40pm block!

I took both econ 551 and 552 with her. There is a lot of reading and in-class participation but you do learn a lot and it is relatively painless. If you're interested in eastern europe or comparative economics, these are great classes to take. The Transition economies class is just about CEEC's. Really well organized and understanding teacher.

Very clear, provides all the info you need in lectures; I only used the book to help review concepts. Homework might throw you off, but she goes over it in class, so your homework grade might not be great but you will have the info so you can do well on exams. She takes into account the amount of effort you put in, which is nice. Overall good prof.

I liked this class a lot. We learned traditional mainstream micro concepts and then looked at a few types of market failures. Grading was fair and I learned a lot.

She makes the class difficult, goes fast and gives almost impossible assignments. However, she is good about helping in office hours and is generally pretty nice.

Really hard class, especially if you don't really understand economics. She goes really fast and doesn't really cover the more difficult problems, but they show up on the midterm and on homework. She can be helpful if you go to office hours, though.

Very good prof, explains the material well. The class doesn't have too much work and she's willing to help students out if they're having problems. Would recommend taking her.
