I love Dr. Early. He is an amazing teacher and was very helpful to me in class. The material is certainly difficult, but if you pay attention you will get a good grade.

An incredible teacher. Unlike some of the other professors I have had, he really seems passionate about the material and truly wants his students to be successful. I had a C on the first two tests and still finished the class with an A. Do the extra credit, SONA visits and GO TO CLASS and you'll be fine.

Class is a complete lecture. I found it incredibly boring but he really knows what he's talking about. The class is just an overview of what you read in the text book. There's no way you can pass if you cram for the tests because they're so long.

Very interesting class. I enjoyed the material, and he always brought up really good points to think about. He really knows his stuff, and if you pay attention and read the assignments, class is a breeze. Definitely learned a lot with him.

The class content was fairly interesting and really gave you something to think about. It was a lot of reading, but I still did fine even after I stopped trying to read as much. He's very helpful but not always interesting at 8:30am. If you listen in class you'll do fine.

Loved this class, learning about learning is wonderful. Early gave great examples and was amazing at explaining everything. He's a little boring, but a great professor if you pay attention. He's best later in the afternoon when you're wide awake. Learned loads from him!! I would take him again in a heart beat!

Took him in the summer for senior symposium, great guy, very nice, willing to help, honestly just pay attention in class before quizzes, I didn't read and passed all of them. And be short and sweet with short answer questions and to the point on the journals and you'll come out with an A. lots of videos, but hey better than taking notes.

The class is a little controversial, but it is definitely something to think about. No tests and no big papers make this class worth taking. A lot of videos are used, but they are not bad. He's very friendly and soft spoken. Great guy!

a teacher that should not be allowed to have class before noon due to his boring ALL lecture classes and monotone voice. There is NO student/teacher interaction and if u miss one class regardless of the reason u will NOT get an A

Make sure you come to class, attendence is a big part of the grade. The material and his teaching syle are interesting. He also wants you to succeed. Big negative is he doesn't grade his own tests or let you keep them. Shows laziness in my opinion.
