Overall Dr. Arnott was a good professor. He is very knowledgeable but only gives an economic view from a free market standpoint. He has weekly quizzes and a final over those quizzes. Make sure to take them and listen to his podcasts before you take them! He does give extra credit so if you miss an quiz its ok!

Dr. Arnott starts his lectures off with talking about an article from the news and makes us discuss. Typical weekly quizzes, just read the chapter! I got very sick in the middle of the semester and he was extremely accommodating and caring. Comes off sarcastic, but is very kindhearted! Always willing to help, but you have to put in the effort.

The class structure is so simple: weekly case study quiz, weekly discussion post, and 3 exams. You have to read the case studies to do the quizzes, or you won't do well, but the case studies are not long. Definitely makes you dig into the material to do well on the assignments, but the class is very interesting. I would recommend him for strategies

He gives entertaining lectures and fun stories and weekly quizzes. Each lecture has something to to with the quiz so if you show up and pay attention you'll get an A. He also gives extra credit opportunities like visiting the Federal Reserve of Dallas for a free A+ on a quiz.

Dr. Arnott is a fantastic professor. He makes class a lot of fun with his stories and lectures, and he cares to get to know you. He also offers opportunities for extra credit and makes sure you know what to study for the quizzes. If you show up to class, pay attention, and do the homework, you'll make an A.

He is a good professor, but I rated him a 3 because he is a tough grader and very nit-picky about each assignment. I never received a hundred on anything and got points taken off for dumb reasons. The class is easy though. Just weekly discussion boards and a quiz due at the end of the week.

Amazing person and professor. He's so smart and practically applies economics to everyday life. His lectures are amazing and you can see his passion for everything he does. Quizzes are straight from lectures and some textbook readings, but if you listen you'll do fine. Take his class if you ever get a chance, it's life changing and really practical

I gave this class a difficult level of 3 only because there was a lot of work. But i also took this course online and over the summer in a shorter semester so I had 16 weeks worth of material crammed into 9. The work itself wasn't hard and as long as you turn in your stuff on-time it's an easy A. Prof. Arnott is really nice & will help in any way.

This professor is engaging and insightful into economics and how it affects our everyday lives. Only one test for the class, but if you show up and study for the quizzes you should do fine. Also gives a lot of extra opportunities to make up missed or failed quizzes. Very available for his students as well.

I learned some really great stuff in this class. He's a cool guy. Wants you to pay attention in class, which is good. ECON: You gotta show up; there's quizzes frequently and on days where there isn't a quiz, there still might be something for a partial quiz grade. He intertwines faith and learning well. Only one test besides the quizzes. I'm a fan!

Try not to take him if you can. Exceedingly arrogant, extremely boring lectures. Very easy A if you can handle showing up and sitting through very vague lectures.

He really knows what he is talking about and is very passionate. Overall, the class was easy, as long as you listen. Scan over the book before class, because you will have quizzes every week. Go to class, he keeps track and I know people who have failed the class due to not showing up. All quizzes, one final and its all quizzes combined

i like Dr. Arnott. Do the homework. I almost maxed out my exams but still made an A- only due to 10 case studies and 10 forum grades. He is a hard grader on case studies and you would think you are in an English class. Would I take again, yes.

Fairly good professor. Course schedule vague, little to no interaction with professor. Grammar and spelling errors throughout his side of the class. He appears to be quite self-involved. Class could have been great but was mostly paying for 3 credit hours. I did enjoy the real life applications from the book and the case studies that were provided.

Very knowledgable about the material. Assignments alternate between group projects and papers every other week, and he provides outlines and sample papers. He is not personable in the least. He is curt, dry, arrogant, and oftentimes blatantly rude and disrespectful, which is a shame because he's brilliant. Not too difficult, but wouldn't recommend
