Paul Peterson...dont take him! I was unable to attend class after I was hospitalized and when I tred to contact him through e-mail he dodged all of my questions and never gave me anything definitive. I really wish I would have read some of these comments before registering because they are TRUE...repetative, boring, monotone voice, never attends...

This professor is extremly useless! He never posted grade online in a timely manner. The first exam covered 7 weeks whereas the second only covered 3 weeks. His deadlines for the weekly posts were inconsistant and unpredictable and whats more is that he cancelled the last two class so I never got the chance to fill out an evaluation form!

If there is another profesor available take them instead!!! Some of the major problems that I had with this class was the fact that he only showed up to half of the classes, literally. There were 6 meeting days for the entire semester and he missed 3 of them. I really wish I could get my money back. 350 characters isnt enugh to express my dislike!

Avoid the teacher at all costs. He never puts things up on blackboard when he says he will. When he does he'll put it up all at once and expect the work to be done in a few days. Then he'll revise the readings a bunch of times. It's seems impossible to get a 10/10 on the discussion board. Changes class meetings often. Very confusing during lecture.

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. If you are unable to have your work done on time, I learned you can just become a philosophy professor, because he never has stuff ready when he says he will. He types up most of the required readingsm and not only are they late, they are full of spelling & grammar errors, because he doesn't proof read.

For the online course, his powerpoints were very inclusive and covered a lot of material. However, getting a question answered outside of the powerpoints is a challenge. His quizzes sometimes have the wrong keys, so you can get a bad grade without even deserving it. Knows his stuff but difficult for an online class simply because of the logistic.

Everyone is complaining about his difficulty. If you read thoroughly through the presentations and do all the examples, you won't have a single problem. He answers any question you have almost immediately. 100+ slides - yes, but he repeats the same thing 10 times to help you!!! Your hw is only 5 problems a week - EASY! Come on, it's college, not HS

I took this class online, not knowing what to expect. There is a lot of material to learn and some of it was difficult to learn. He does do some "curve grading" which helps and you can take the weekly quizzes as many times as you like. I don't think that this makes a good online course, too much information that needs explaining.

Took this class online thinking it would be an easy A. Ended up with my first D in college (and it's my 5th semester!) HARD class and tons of work to do. There's 2 powerpoint presentations every week with 100+ slides. It's insane.

An aweful teacher... comes to class late, unprepared, and then belittles students who are not understanding the subject matter. Had I know knowledge of logic, I would have done poorly in this class.

Ahhh this class is terrible. He is so hard to follow because he is sooo boring. He makes up his own definitions to words, and then if you have a question... he will never have an answer for you. He speaks in monotone and just drags on the entire 3 hours, and even has the nerve to try and continue to go on past the class time. his classes are sooo boring, avoid this professor if you can.

Incredibly hard class if taken online. There's a quiz every week that you can retake as many times as you need, which is a plus! Also, homework due every week. Work load wasn't too much, but the content of the material was very difficult!

I looked forward to the class, and then it began. I have never been bored in a philosophy class before. He uses his own terms and makes up definitions. The content is just very boring and the he puts me to sleep.
