Took his intro to soc online course. Straightforward class, simply do the textbook work, participate in discussions, and do the exams on time. He gives good feedback on discussions as well, and we also had a tutor that did 2x weekly extra credit zoom sessions (I should've attended those but I was never awake on time lol).

Comment:

Professor Banda is great. It's easy to get an A if you study the coursework and meet the deadlines. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about sociology and didn't feel pressured at all, which made me retain the information I was reading more. Great professor overall!

Professor Banda is great, he cares about his students and is always there for you whenever you need it. Took 8 week class it was a lot of work but you have to be willing to put in the time. I managed to get an A because I read and annotated every that was important in the textbook. Homework helps you a lot for test. Overall a really great class.

Absolutely terrible professor. Does not respond to emails and rarely does anything outside of assigning an immense amount of work. Does not announce due dates and gives little time windows to take exams. Do not recommend

Took his Criminology class and really enjoyed it. He is very intelligent, sarcastic, and honest. He tends to ramble and go on tangents about unrelated things, but it's always interesting. Lots of entertaining discussions. He always mentioned how crucial the book was but I never got it and passed. Good experience!

Professor Bandas 8 week online Sociology course is a straightforward classy each week there are either discussion posts, readings or exams due on Sundays. 8 discussion posts and 5 exams. As long as you do the work you will get full credit. Read the book and take notes as you work through the chapter reviews to go over during your exams.

Honestly, I don't think that he actually reads your postings, but just looks to see you meet the word count. Somewhat unorganized in his postings about what he is looking for in your assignments. Tendency to not respond to any questions. Easy A.

I really enjoyed taking this professor. There are 8 discussion posts, 4 exams, and 1 paper. The discussions are simple, and so is the paper, do what he asks and your good. The exams were what our class had a hard time with, do not expect to be able to look up the answers, I recommend getting the online textbook, and using it for exams.

he was my first ever professor and he is great! actually interesting. I took this class twice now (my own fault I failed the 1st time) and the online class is very easy. He is straightforward. 8 discussions, 5 exams, and assignments online but its all very easy and he tells you way in advance. Amazing professor and great personality

I took this class online and it was incredibly easy even though I took the eight-week version of the class. You barely need to put in much effort. As long as you do the assignments and read the material before taking the exams you will get an A. Highly recommend!

Definitely an easy online class to knock down some of your GE Requirements. Banda is a great professor in terms of giving you the assignments on time and always reminding you to take your exams and completing your homework by the certain due date.

Easy to pass as long as you do the work and put in effort. His grading is pretty straight forward. The work is overall simple and I learned a lot during the fast track course. Also hes a very nice guy and is willing to help out with whatever questions you have. I would definitely recommend taking this course.

Mr Banda is so quick in response for your emails and very open on top of things and understanding one of the best teachers Ive had. he is in his office when posted and always there to awnser any questions you have. communication is great. couldn't ask for anything else if you get a chance to take him do it, because you will have a smooth semester
