Clearly explains concepts, and is helpful in office ours and over email. Makes assignments, quizzes and exams out of a lot of marks, which I liked.

Karen is the worst professor I have ever had and would highly recommend never taking her class if at all possible. She is also sassy and rude. She does not care for her students and if you fall behind or need help she is not helpful or kind.

karen is a decent teacher overall. she gives out an unnecessary amount of papers, many of which i never looked at. she spends a lot of time making sure you personally understand the material, which most profs dont do very often. her tests and final are pretty easy considering most of the questions are almost the same as the worksheets.

I had to get used to her teaching technique for some time. Sometimes covered the assignment material on the due date. Hangs out so so many paper and doesn't use D2L. On the other side, really helpful both during and outside the class. Not a tough grader and gives bonus marks on the tests. Overall, had to study a lot, but enjoyed her class.

Karen is always excited to teach, but her teaching style takes some time to get used to. She gives notes before class, but it's still a bit confusing when she's actually teaching, even if you read it ahead of time. She also gives weekly assignments. But she is a very caring and patient instructor.

Karen is VERY kind and caring. However she doesn't lecture and expects you to have a firm grasp of the material before class (she gives out notes ahead of time). What little info she does explain she does extremely briefly and without a ton of time to practice before moving on to something else. Felt like I was being dragged along the entire time

Karen gives you lecture notes and it's essential to read them before each class or you'll have a hard time following her lectures. Midterms are okay if you just study all the questions from the notes and worksheets she gives you. She makes a lot of typos in her written notes and her answer key is sometimes unreliable. Besides that, notes are v good

she is a really easy teacher, but she is not very good at teaching the material the notes she gives you are missing a bunch stuff that she gives assignments on and your left trying to find examples on the internet. On the flip side she is a super easy marker and you will get an A if you try in this class.

She's probably not the best teacher out there in terms of actually teaching her lecture material. She's quite knowledgeable but often comes of as timid and shaky when teaching her class. On the flip side, she's a super easy marker, and she hands out homework and class notes every week. If you do both, you should get an A+ no problem.

Overall she's good and I recommend her, however, she does make some weird decisions as to how she runs her class. For example, She starts going over the material only two days before an assignment is due. I found it really difficult to study for this class because she doesn't follow the textbook and her notes can be confusing.

She is such a good teacher that she really wants to give out full marks! We do have many quizzes but she is trying to make all of them easy. We ruined one of them, she even gave us a very similar quiz and covered the previous one! And she very rarely use textbook so we don't have to buy one, everything we need is in her handouts, excellent teacher!

A pleasure to take her course. She ll give you handouts containing all stuff you will be tested in exam, so you don,t need to read the the whole book. Her quizzes might be tough for some of you, but if u can,t pass them, I suggest u don,t take phys any more. YOU MUST BE SO TALL TO ENROLL PHYSICS

She is one of my most favorite instructors. Super helpful during office hours. She even sacrificed her lunch time to help me out. Exams are hard but not unreasonable since this course is post-secondary level. Don't think this course is as easy as PHYS1118 or grade 12 physics. After rotation, materials suddenly get harder to undertand, so be aware.

I like Karen. Good teacher. There are lots of assignments, but they're not worth much, so manage your time and effort accordingly. She also gives out typed notes with questions, but don't rely on them because writing and keeping your own notes will help you learn. Tough midterms but easy final. Weekly quizzes also help to keep you up to date. 4/5.

I used to love physics but she made me hate it because of how difficult she made it. You could barely udnerstand her and her assignments are endless. If you take a class with her just get ready to spend hours on ur assignments.

Her exams are so difficult! She said the class average was high for the first midterm...it was 70%. She assigns homework before she teaches you the material, sometimes a few hours before it is due. For a course that is concept heavy, she doesn't spend time on the concepts, just ridiculously long problems in which she doesn't show all the work!
