I'M GOING TO MISS HER SO MUCH. Words cannot explain how much I appreciate her to have had her as my professor! She's one of the very rare professors who really wants her students to succeed in class! She does EVERYTHING she can to help her students understand Chemistry and does an amazing job at that!! I WILL NEVER FORGET PROFESSOR DELINE EVER.

Deline is and will forever be the best professor I've had at CSM. She bends over backwards in the best interest of her students and she really knows the material and wants her students to understand it. I failed chemistry in high school but Deline made chemistry a subject that I've come to love and understand. Highly recommend her, great teacher.

I took this class with very little knowledge of Chem. She has made chem not only easy for me, but FUN. Her energy is contagious. Allows cheat sheets (What other college chem teacher would do that?!) She is patient and willing to help you. She is extremely funny and I loved her class. If you need chem for your major DEFINITELY take Deline :)

BEST. PROF. EVER!!!!! She's so kind,and answers all questions!! She takes time to help you individually and in lecture she's really funny and dances and sings. You will love her! Not easy grader, but she helps so much and even holds more office hours if you want it one-on-one. Best Professor at CSM and please PLEASE take her! You'll love chem!!! A+

make sure you have her!! Best professor at CSM I'm sure!! I've had many chem teachers and you want her!! Avoid CLAY and take her! So nice, helpful. She WANTS you to do well! Very hard, but she will always help you no matter what! She jumps at the chance to help and will do anything for you. Very fair, and tests come from past classwork assignments

Kate is one of the best professors I've ever had! She is very clear and very willing to help students. She is patient and understanding..a great professor! Chem 220 required a lot of work, but you leave the class learning a lot. Cheat sheets are generous..you have to try hard to get anything BELOW a B in this class!

I could not imagine taking this class with any other instructor. Kate's enthusiasm is contagious which made me really want to grasp every concept no matter how difficult. She is truly committed to her students and their success and CSM is fortunate to have such dedication in its science department. Attend class, office hours & commit to the work.

I loved both 210 and 220 with Kate! One of the best teachers I've had at CSM. EXTREMELY nice and always helpful! She is funny, quirky, and hilarious in lecture, but is very clear and easy to follow. Study hard for the exams and you'll be solid. Take her class, she is AWESOME.

Kate is an amazing teacher. She will help you in a patient and very kind manner. Her candor is amazing. This is by far the best teacher I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about her. She puts extra hours in to help and she even came in on a Saturday for 3 hours to help those who work long hours. She is a hard grader, but very fair.

Excellent. Super clear, alows notes for exams. the first chem class that I actually learned something from labs. Great teacher. But hard grader because tests are fairly easy. It seems like she doesnt give partial credit, but again, exams are easy. If you pay attention and do everything you are guaranteed a B for sure but I found it easy to get an A

Maybe the best teacher I have ever had. Goes way beyond what is expected of her as a teacher. Really, really roots for her students to do well and not only gives everyone in her class the clear instruction and tools necessary to succeed but is also enthusiastic and fun in doing so. She has helped me so much with learning chemistry and makes in enjoyable to be in. If you end up taking her 8am morning labs, don't worry she'll wake you up with all the energy she has crammed inside of her. She loves showing demo's and she's always free to ask questions. Every wednesday and each exam, she'll bring you candy to help wake you up!
