When doing a Mead assignment, it must compile, give the right output, follow a style guide, pass a memory test, and an overly complicated Doxygen program. None of those sound bad on their own, but the submissions and returns are on a sad little website that is hard to work with. His class is a mess, and when you ask for help, he speaks down to you.

Mead is by far one of the most knowledgeable professors I have ever met. He will set you straight on understanding CS. He gives a lot of homework, just do it all and by the time you are done, you will feel like a programmer. He gives you everything you need and seriously wants you to pass. Put in the work, and take the rewards you get from it!

A strict but great teacher. He gives clear lectures that go into more detail than any other programming class I've had. He gives a lot of assignments, and expects a lot out of students, but grades fairly, and provides students the tools and knowledge to succeed. He also posts useful online notes, and teaches good programming practices.

I would say Mead's easiness is a little understated on this site. He does a lot for you and gives you drivers that tests a lot of the edge cases for you, something other professors have not given me. As far as CS classes go - his unquestionable clarity and materials he provides makes him an Easy professor, especially at DigiPen.

He gives you everything you might need to pass his class, so if you're not doing well it's usually because you haven't put in enough effort. He also tries to set you up with good programming habits which, at first were annoying, but are now something I can't stop doing. It feels wrong otherwise. CS is all you Mead.

I derided certain parts of CS180, thinking I would never use them. Then at my internship, I used an absurd amount of what I learned in CS180 (the company I interned at even used Doxygen). Mead is a great professor who knows what he's talking about and works hard for his students.

There are few educators I have met that are as passionate, knowlegeable and intelliegent as Prof. Mead. He wants you to struggle, work hard and succeed and if you ask him, he will help you do all three of those things.

Prof. Mead is great at what he does- teaching the new students what it means not only to code, but to be responsible. His assignments are sometimes a little too guided, but that is probably a safer route to take with freshmen.

If you don't like Professor Mead, then you have way too high of standards. He is extremely helpful, always there to help, and will cram more knowledge into your head than you could ever expect. Pay attention, don't skip class, and do your homework.

Teacher most likely to wake you up to DigiPen, and the best man suited for it. He is not hard, but his standards are of DigiPen's expectations (HIGH). All of his information is thoroughly explained and laid out, and available to students online. He will answer any question, detail any problem, but will not take excuses from people.

Mead is probably the best teacher I've ever had. He knows everything about C, and is always clear and helpful. He's also a witty fellow. He leaves no stones unturned. If you don't learn from his classes, you should probably should think about picking a different career. This school could use more of him.

Hands-down the best professor I've had at DP thus far. Not only does he present the material clearly, but also keeps the class at a steady pace. He also has no problem pulling the reigns on students who want to jump ahead and ask advanced questions that would confuse less-experienced students. Always willing to take extra time to help, too!

Mead is one of the best teachers I have ever had including my K-12 years. He presents the information using his online notes and a projector so you can just spend the class listening to him and digesting the information and not frantically copying notes. He is the model teacher for this school and all others (so far) fail in comparison.

Mead is a god. He's fun, clear, and knows seemingly everything about the C language. He loves the stuff and his assignments are well within reason. Make sure you do his homework (especially reading the book) and you'll do well in his class. His tests have a lot of stuff that you should never ever ever see, but he wants you to know C like he does.

This class covers a LOT of material. That being said, this professor will manage to teach all of it, painlessly. The prof. is extremely helpful and I couldn't ask for anything more in a cs teacher.
