Comment:
Not a very good prof. Gives boring, slow lectures that it are really hard to pay attention to. Kinda rude (eg. during one lecture, he mocked students who said a question was difficult on their report). Refuses to curve/give bonus because testing is an 'objective standard' and he is so perfect that he could never give an unfair exam, apparently.

Such a cute professor! Lectures were slow sometimes however, and the exams were difficult. His assignments are "essays" about how you found the assignment, so you are not really submitting any math or physics. This is for 25% of your marks too!

Very tough grader. He encourages us to get the textbook solutions for a reference but the way he does solves questions are very different from the textbook solution and does very minimum explaining. Also, he teaches us the material almost word for word in the book but tests us on something method that he has never shown us in class.

James (or Jim as he prefers it) is a nice guy but don't me fooled by his smile or easy practice mid terms. Jim definitely cares about the students, but this mid term was ridiculously difficult. The Prof doesn't curve either, but he does offer a 100% Final so there's some hope.

Lectures were rather plain, and he makes a lot of mistakes on the board and he gave only a few assignments. His version of the course requires a bit of maturity with no term tests to help you keep up with the course materials, and in the end the 70% open book 4 hour final destroyed everyone!!!

A really nice guy who puts a lot of effort into his teaching. Tests can be tough and he strays from the textbook a fair bit and you end up not having a whole lot to study come test time. Every assignment has 1 question that seems to come out of left field.

He is one of the best profs in the department. Teaches things very well and clear. As mentioned he says "ah", "ok", "ya" A LOT. He often makes a joke that only he finds funny and will laugh continuously. The class has only 7 people in it so we get to know him rather well.
