Didn't really teach anything. The class just read and did presentations. Sometimes four in one day on the same subject--brutal 3 hours! Learned a lot though! Two take home test/essays.

I had absolutely no interest in this class at first, but she is just the kindest and most genuinely lovely woman that it made it worth waking up at 8:30am to get to class. She's the most helpful and caring prof I've ever had. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

There is a lot of work in this class, but Professor Dickey Young's lectures make the subject material very easy to understand and interesting. Be prepared for a lot of reading and a larger-than-average work load, with a poster, a 7-10 page paper and 8 journal entries totaling 4000 words. These pertain to the texts so you have to do the readings.

I love that she taught her half of this course from a feminist perspective. She did a good job of teaching a bunch of first years who didn't appreciate information on something they "didn't sign up for" even though the course was all-encompassing

the material was just brutal. I hated the class but i can't blame her, i'm not sure if anyone could have made it bearable.

Sweetheart. I was having problems in her class, and went to talk to her, and she really helped me out. The three hour long class at 8:30 was tough to deal with, but it was worth it.

Amazing professor, changed the way in which i think. She's a true credit to the department and university. This class is great too, you can really learn from the THEO/MDIV students, they totally made me want to do more theology. The books were also great, i loved williams and Kwok.

What a great course. Assessment has nothing to do with lectures, but I still went to most because they were interesting. I really liked the assignments. A poster, journals, church visits. Wrote my first university research paper in this course and I got 85%!
