Such a sweet man! Goes over slides and quizzes are helpful. GIves lots of extra credit. Im not good at math and i got a B! All points are added at the end so stack up on them. Great teacher!

This was the third time I took this class and I passed. I am horrible at math but he gives you so many extra credit opportunities,which is how I finally passed. He's really boring but if you go to SLAC and get help w your homework and take advantage of his extra credit opportunities you can pass!

Teacher is so sweet, but should not be teaching. Attendance is mandatory, so you have to go to class everyday and stay the whole time. I payed attention to his lectures but still had to go home and reteach myself with the book. I would not take this teacher unless you have a lot of patience. Homework and quizzes due after each lecture.

Nice guy however like many math teachers/professors doesn't really know how to TEACH. Would make mistakes on problems frequently. He told us on the first day that this was his first time teaching Business Calculus in 3 years. I knew it was going to be a long semester. Only take him if you have a basic knowledge of the material. If it's new AVOID.

Boring. I just scan my ID and leave so I get credit for being there. I've been teaching myself everything from the online HW and quizzes because I end up falling asleep in his class. VERY BORING!

Super nice and cares about his students. Majority of work is through MyMathLab.com and he allows one note card to take your tests with so its pretty easy. If you struggle in math he is very helpful and goes slow. Many students are rude so if your going to talk or leave during class just don't show up bc he'll get upset and its super sad to see.

Great Teacher. Takes his time to explain every single problem you might run into. you have a quiz every time you go in. tests arent easy, but not hard. do the old tests and you should be good cause they're almost the same with different numbers. took 18 hrs at school, worked 20 hrs on the weekend and still came up with B. g8 teacher. take him!

Good teacher if you have problems with math this is a good teacher to take. I've taking college algebra 3 other times and I'm actually going to pass this time. Uses mymathlab.com so its easy to get help when you don't understand and you get multiply tries on hw and quizzes.

Genuinely a sweet guy, and people definitely don't respect him enough. Majority of the class is done through mymathlab, so if you have a pretty good grasp on math you don't need to go to class, if you struggle you should probably go. Overall a pretty easy course!

great teacher! :) hes very nice and cares about the students. he gives very good notes and explains things clearly! all the homework and quizzes are online, and most people have horrible grades, but he works with his students to help them pass. you dont have to go to class, but its probably best

The college algebra class is really simple all homework is online and quizess and test... class is not mandatory and for the first few weeks during the easy stuff you dont need to go but once the tough stuff comes its better to go to class so u at least have an understanding of the material for test quizzes and hw's or you can just use mathway.com

Really the sweetest prof i've ever had. genuinely a great guy, and also genuinely cares about your grade. However the tests are VERY difficult, averages usually F's. I'm not very good at math (let alone calculus) so I'd say overall he's a good prof to take if you want to really get into the course. DEFINITELY not a blowoff.

Took 2nd semester of Cal summer 2. Very fast pased. Tends to make mistakes on examples, students correct him. Exams may become tricky but are balanced (he loves to use trig and euler's number alot in all types of questions). Overall, a well balanced professor, because he'll sit down with you and explain things clearer.

Great teacher. Don't bother buying the book, just buy the $60-$70 software that comes along with it (you use that for homework), I didn't even open it the whole semester because his lectures are thorough. I also got an A with 2 B's and a C on the other tests, I just was there everyday for 6 pt bonus for attendance, got 100s on my homework (easy)

Don't buy the book you don't need it! Prof is monotone, but overall the class is pretty easy. Go to the SI's test review sessions & do the practice test both help a lot! He gives extra credit for attendance!
