He is one of the kindest people that could be teaching you. Sometimes strange and vague but the assignments are pretty easy and help keep your grade up. The tests are not easy but are not difficult. It is easy to want to skip this class, you can normally get away with skipping and just going whenever an assignment is marked in class

The man is a bit strange at first but is easily one of the most rewarding profs I've ever learned from. You have to do the work he assigns but if you keep at it and show an interest he will take the time to teach you a lot of interesting stuff.

He is a very understanding prof. However, although paying attention in class will save your grade, you do have to ready the textbook and do the assignments too. It's a lot of work, but the upside is the very helpful prof you get.

An all round passionate and quirky prof. The tests he makes are mostly based on the textbook. If you don't do the readings and assignments, you're likely to fail or do pretty badly. It's a lot of hard work, but if you are interested in economics, it is a good learning experience.

Intro to Environmental Problems. Andrew Secord can sometimes get off topic in class, but for the most part tries to make the class fun and interesting, and likes to try many things to keep the interest high. He is flexible and understanding with deadlines, and an average marker

I took both ECON 1013 & 1023 with Prof Secord and loved every minute of it. The only reason I got myself out of bed every morning for the 9am class was his lectures. He made me decide to go for a major in economics. Take any course he offers, you won't regret it. He is an amazing prof.

Had him for ECON 1013 & 1023. Very intelligent, knows his stuff. Tests are fair but long. Fair marker and you only need 90% or more to score an A+. Do the assignments, they're helpful and easy marks. Read ahead, you'll get more out of lectures and won't feel stupid after class. Although at times complex, the material covered was very interesting.

Seemed like a nice enough guy but he's rather strange. Goes off topic all of the time to rant about other things. Read, read and read some more if you have any aspirations of getting through the class.
