With Dr. Beggs you need to be patient, especially if she is going to have to continue to be online later on. She planned that our class would go back in person until the school said we can't. It's hard to pay attention with her but if you pay attention and want it bad enough, you can get an A.

Worst professor ever. This was literally the easiest class but she gives everyone a B for no reason. She doesnt grade anything until the last minute so you cant even raise your grades if you tried. Also dont expect her to respond to emails about grades either. Would definitely not recommend her, I dont even know how shes allowed to teach.

Did not like her at all. Shes very arbitrary. You dont learn anything in that class. And she doesnt grade anything till the very last minute. The first and last exam is not until Nov and its comprehensive. Good luck!

Professor is basically a substitute teacher. She made us watch the men who built america all semester and barely taught. Semester also consists of an interview, a group project, and a single exam which was statistic heavy. She also didn't grade anything til the last week of the semester. I don't recommend this professor.

Dr Beggs is a great professor. If you show up, participate, work hard & conduct yourself as a soon to be graduate/professional she will treat you with respect. If you act entitled and disrespect she will not even entertain it. Very useful class and caring professor. Yes its difficult but not impossible.

Worst teacher ever! Stay clear! She doesn't grade anything until the last minute and gives everyone the same grade no matter if you asked her for advice or not. The more questions you ask the more she begins to not like you. Class was a joke. She acts like an innocent old lady but she is rude doesn't respond to email's or care about her students.

A lot of movie/TV, a few powerpoints, couple of speakers, 1 test, 1 optional final, 1 single and 1 group project. Honestly, I learned a LOT about not just entrepreneurship, but this country and the men who built it. Group project is tedious so start early but be CREATIVE because the class will grill you at the end Shark Tank style.

Class is a joke. We watched a movie for 8 weeks, had a 2-3 speakers, and she maybe taught 2 classes. First test wasn't until November. We are going into the final with only one grade known. Her grading criteria isn't clear and attendance is somewhat mandatory. Only prof who really "teaches" this class so good luck. Choose a good group.

If you are expecting this class to be easy you shouldn't be in college. It's the FINAL class you take as a business student, of course it will be a little challenging. All that aside, Dr. Beggs is an amazing professor. Tests are not bad at all, didn't study and got a high B on all of them. Group projects aren't bad either, just take some time.

A very slow, harsh, and subjective grader who does not make expectations clear. I am a straight A student who has been traumatized by this class and its work load. This professor is very out of touch, and takes away time from job-searching.

I would advise you to take another professor for this course. She does not post guidelines for group the group case study and is a very tough grader for both of the group projects. There is no individual grade given for either project so make sure you pick a good team if you want to get a C.

Save yourself the trouble and take someone else. Workload is ridiculous with impossible expectations. You also don't even know 600 of 800 points until after the last day of class. Ridiculous.

This was a very difficult class, but I thought she did a nice job of encouraging us to start early. The exams were difficult so pay attention to the lectures, particularly the models. If you put in the work, you should come out with a good grade. Pick a good group though, very important.

I just graduated this past Saturday. I have a 3.4 GPA. Joyce Beggs just posted grades and I received my very first C on my very last class. She is a horrible teacher. Class was graded out of 800 points. We did not know about 600 points until the exam day. I suggest taking someone else. Classes like this are why we all think college is useless.

This teacher is a nightmare. Her teaching "style" is to get up front and ramble about the Wall Street Journal for 20 minutes and then ramble about charts and models for the rest of class. Horrible communication and very vague. Impossible grading scale. The first test is a KILLER. AVOID if you can!

Very hard class, but what can you expect for your last business class. Tests are pretty tough, but you'll need them to boost your grade from projects. An individual and a group project count for more than half of the class grade. Both are pretty difficult, so get a good group and start early. She's a great teacher though, and very funny.
