Dr. MacKenzie has been the best prof I have had so far!! His lectures are VERY informative and in-depth but his expectations are clear. It is obvious he works for the students; going over ambiguous test questions and always popping up in lab looking to help out the TA's. You have to study hard for his test but the content is interesting!

I really enjoyed him as a teacher. His class was very well organized and the assignments were interesting yet challenging. When I emailed the course email address with questions, he answered them personally instead of a TA. I really appreciated that.

Dr. MacKenzie is an extraordinary prof. He is happy to answer any questions (especially if they're about exploring material in greater depth) and sincerely cares about his students. The course is hard, with many aspects of memorization, as well as exams questions going deeper, but it's unavoidable with this material and his lectures are helpful.

ONLINE ANAT 100. This class is self guided learning. They give you a powerpoint and textbook readings and you teach yourself. Get ready to ready and memorize. Recommended for those with self discipline, if you are likely to fall behind in online readings and material good luck! Study the slides and use the text to supplement material in slides.

ANAT100 is very clear and well designed course, if you study material (textbook is tailored for this course, all material is highlighted), you will get a good grade. A lot of material but because it organized really well you can do well at the course. Recommend for prerequisites.

Ridiculous. NO grading criteria for much of course. Group projects in an online, distance course. Unsubstantiated group grades from web meeting games during which the software failed and he made up the rules as he went along. No grades returned before drop date. Not what I expect of a science course. Tested on material not included in text.

Professor Mackenzie is a great professor and makes learning anatomy really fun. The class is very challenging, as only bullet point notes are posted online - making it essential to take good notes in class to understand the details that you need for the exams. If you use your ressources (SGHAIC and Mac himself etc.), it's possible to do well :)

Mackenzie is a really good prof - makes you want to come to class and be engaged. But, his tests are absolutely ridiculous. There are many possible answers and it's difficult to know which one he wants you to choose because you can come at it from many different perspectives. I would recommend only taking this course if its mandatory.

Don't take this course if you're looking for an easy elective. The subject matter is really interesting, and Dr. MacKenzie really wants everyone to do well. Thant being said, it's incredibly difficult to get a good mark. You'll spend a TON of time trying to learn all the material and there is never enough time. Avoid if you can!

Best prof I've ever had! There's a TON of material, textbook reading is very helpful to get better because it is not a class you can cram for. Also, class is pretty much mandatory because his notes and slides aren't online. Any questions on material will be answered by him within 20 minutes (no joke). Loves his subject and to teach!

If you can avoid this course, DO IT!! MacKenzie is a really interesting prof, but he jam packs his lectures with information and it's impossible to keep up. It doesn't matter how helpful he is, it's incredibly hard to do well
