I had professor Eze for CHEM1112 and I enjoyed the way he taught so I took him again. Tests are extremely fair and reasonable. As long as you keep up with the content and read the textbook it shouldn't be too bad. He's a very smart prof and will answer and explain any question about the content. Highly recommend!!!

Granted it was an online course, the communication was horrible. Didn't exactly answer questions, and all lectures were just him reading from his notes. INCREDIBLY stressful class, and I wouldn't recommend taking this course if it is still online. I'm sure he is a better teacher in person, but online was really, really difficult.

He gives a lot of take home practice questions which are optional, but I would suggest doing them because 9/10 questions on the two term tests are from those practice question packets. Sort of repetitive, but he emphasizes key concepts to the point you won't forget.

Good professor, highlights key concepts in class that are important for the tests/exam. Notes lack some detail but use them as an outline to read the textbook. Multiple choice on tests are extremely straight forward, long answers aren't hard but require a lot of explanation. Eze is a super sweet prof who really wants his students to do well

Professor Eze is great. He is very caring and keeps on encouraging students to work hard and fight for themselves! Attending lectures is vital as he goes in depth and explains his notes. Go to class, do the work, put in the effort, and you'll be fine.

Good professor. His accent isn't that hard to understand. He provides tons of practice questions which are invaluable for knowing what to study, and highlights important points in class. His notes are his weak point though - they're not the worst but you do need to attend class to expand upon them. Which is perhaps his intent.

Would avoid him if there's other options. He has a very thick accent and his notes are extremely unorganized. I had to teach myself everything from the textbook because his lectures and notes were a waste of time. He consistently got mad at the class for having a lower midterm average than the other classes... it's not us, its you, Dr. Eze.

Dr. Eze was fantastic. Took 3502 on Letter of Permission and here are my thoughts: 1) Strong accent, but he knows his stuff so get over it. 2) Lectures on necessary concepts and expects you to seek further understanding via corresponding chapters in the textbook (As a great profs do!) 3) Goes above and beyond to ensure the success of students

After reading reviews on here i was very hesitant to take chem with him. I do not regret my choice! very helpful in explaining and he takes his time to make sure all students understand. In all honestly i think students walked into that classroom prepared to dislike him, it was really upsetting to see that he did not get the respect he deserved.

Granted eze gives out fairly decent exams, it doesn't make up for his lack of teaching skills. I found myself having to teach myself more than anything. He's incredibly difficult to understand and half the time he doesn't know what he's talking about. It makes class really difficult. I don't recommend him unless you can pick up things easily.

Professor Eze was great. Don't listen to what anyone tells you about him as a Professor, it takes a little time to get used to his teaching style but he's extremely kind, he follows the textbook and he really cares about his students. Most importantly he's fair!!

Dr. Eze is by far one of the nicest professors in University of Winnipeg. He is not bad at teaching, but honestly if you don't understand the material, just ask him. He is very approachable and will help you out with anything. Biochem is very hard material, and the textbook is essential in passing the course. Good luck.

This man should not teach laboratories. Speaks too quietly, heavy accent, contradicts himself, unwilling to help when complications arise, horribly inefficient (took 1 hour to prepare 3 honey samples, demonstrates on individual basis instead of to entire class), and SPILLS LAB WORK and doesn't offer subsequent help. Be warned; I wish I had been.

Not a very good teacher, teaches straight out of the textbook and very hard to understand him due to his accent. He doesn't know what he's doing half the time and will not help you with assignments.

Dont take him for first year chemistry. Very heavy accent. He is literally ALL over the place with his notes. Will literally just write and write on the whiteboard without explaining himself. His examples are directly out of the textbook so i stopped going to class and and now study in the library during his period and get 2x the work done.
