in this covid time he did only one live class and gave recorded lectures which he recorded in 2018 . he just reads out the presentation. alot of assignments and quizzes going on. No clear instructions given on anything . worst teacher ever met with

Do not take his class, he's an awfully tough grader, he'll try and be funny but in reality, is really rude. He is not as empathetic as other professors, I would've loved him if he was slightly understanding and a better grader.

Do not take a class with this prof. 25 percent of your grade for quizzes! Also gave 120 minutes for 100 multiple choice questions in an online exam. Is not accommodating to students. I repeat DO NOT TAKE HIM.

This guy is the worst. Bi Wkly quizes worth 25% of your grade are a joke. Hard marker on the group project with unclear expectations. Boring lecture. Simply reviews the slides. Could learn more by yourself by reading. Asked to see project for marks. Says he will SNAIL MAIL to me! Guy can't read emails. Can't use technology for anything. Not helpful

Simon was a nice prof. Like most classes, do your reading, and homework and this class is easy A. Participation is huge for this class though. I lost a big percentage for not speaking up enough. Don't delay on the sales project either, it's more time consuming than you would think.

Hes really boring to listen too and doesnt let you use cheat sheets in the final like other marketing professors at KPU. Most of the studying you have to do in this class is by yourself because he spends a lot of time talking about useful crap. Furthermore, be prepared for the weekly quizzes cuz they are 20% of your mark.

he is one of the better, but not the best profs at kpu. his lectures are good but he makes you work for the grade. the exams are not difficult, if you cram the textbook and the group project is difficult if you don't have good team. make sure you get noticed by him and he will make the work a bit less challenging.

I don't know why people are hating on this guy.. He is amazing take his classes! You will not find another professor like him. If you are a decent student and you love to learn and have a great time doing it this professor is for you. He's an incredible guy I will take as many courses with him as possible

The group project he gave us was one of most vague things ever, those that handed the project late lost 25% or the project mark. His quizzes are easy, but the midterm is totally different and much more difficult.

Richard's a fantastic instructor who uses real-life examples and hands-on activities to teach students how to think like a marketer. He also makes an effort to know his students, which encourages you to participate and get to know your peers since you're not just a random student in his class!

Love this guy. So sweet. So funny. Very helpful and really wants to see his student do well. There is a quiz every other week on the material covered in class so you do have to show up. He is very good teacher and really explains things well

Richard is like your dorky dad who makes corny jokes that only he laughs at and embarrasses you in front of your friends - and I'm saying that in a loving way, its funny lol. Dedicates a decent amount of marks to participation, so if you're shy be prepared to lose out on marks. Friendly, happy, knowledgeable in his field. Gives quizzes so read up!

Fairly easy class with no homework but chapter quizzes every second week (only 10 questions). Partner project as part of your final mark. Lectures are a bit long but in class group work helps solidify chapter concepts. Nice prof, answers any questions and fairly easy class.

I didn't particularly enjoy Simon as a professor. His class was fairly entertaining but I felt like he was a very unfair marker. He wasn't clear on what he expected on the term project, then deducted marks for missing parts that we were never told about. His multiple choice are also not easy.

Richard is so entertaining, I could listen to him talk all day. Also hilarious, in that he can't remember most students names. Very knowledgeable in the subject and engaging during class, would definitely recommend and am eager to take another class with him in the future.
