Doesn't even teach the class. There is a different presenters everyday who can be hard to follow if you have no previous knowledge in Canadian History. What is going to be on the exams is unclear, but he is not a tough grader but if you look over your note from class, you can easily get a B in the class. I do not recommend this class.

Comment:
Had too many guest lecturers. Class was extremely boring. He gives the previous exams and pretty much tells you what will be on the exam so as long as you study what he goes over they're easy. Frontloads the course so it seems hard but then the second half is a breeze which is nice because that's when the other classes get harder.

Raymond is a great and interesting professor. I wish he had taught more of the class. However, the TA was ridiculous! Completely unhelpful and rude. The tests were difficult because every class had a different lecturer. Stefano Tij-- is not the person to take this class with.

I hated this class, he doesn't even teach it so it is hard to take notes on a different lecturer each time. Also very boring and the TA made the tests and they were awful. Worst class of the semester, so boring.

He doesn't even teach the class. Needs to be a little more selective in choosing his guest lecturers, because some of them were just AWFUL (couldn't hear them, hard to follow, etc). But if you don't go to class, you're screwed for the exams. He's never very clear about what they're over either. You choose a paper or an exam at the end though.
