Seems like a nice person, but would not recommend as an instructor. Extremely vague and general and does not give feedback for improvement. Assignment questions and expectations are unclear. The amount of readings, videos, and work required is more than any graduate course I've done. Some of my best work for the lowest mark in my graduate program.

Brilliant person: she's a perspicacious learner who truly cares about her students and her (and their) impact on society. For those with open minds who love challenges, you'll *SIMPLY LOVE* her course. For those with closed minds who fear challenges, DO THE WORK. You're worth it. :)

Don't expect a "how to" course at a graduate level. What Dr. Kelly offers is a new way to think in order to make the core values of education better for all stakeholders. I am a better teacher and person because of what I've learned from her. Words cannot express my admiration of her. I'm now finished my 4th degree and she is the Best Prof Ever!

An eye-opening course only if the student is accountable and takes the course seriously. It will change your perception of the cultural media! If you choose to avoid thinking then take another course.

One of the best profs I had.By the way,I have finished my degree and I didn't have one course that I would call 'practical'.If you want practice,do another undergrad degree. In the graduate program they make you think, and Dr.Kelly did make us think.V.Good.

I strongly agree with the previous comment. This course was not practical and was basically a waste of my time and money. I hear that other profs have undertaken teaching this course and did a fine job teaching it to a group of intelligent grad students

This had the potential for being a foundation course, but it did not finalize into this sort of experience. I'm not sure she is qualified to teach this sort of course. A nice person, but just a so so prof.
