He is known for giving Cs. The content seems easy in class. His exams are unfair. They do not reflect his teaching or the textbook. He offers a curve, but it is not enough to boost most people's grades significantly. He does not tell you your peer review grade which is a higher percentage than one would expect and submits your grade. Do not take.

The class consisted of a few group projects, group class work, and 3 exams. Most of his classes were lectures, and definitely make sure you take good notes and read the textbook to prepare for his exams. He grades projects pretty easily.

You have a couple homework assignments and a couple group in class assignments that are really easy and straight forward. His exams are a little difficult but doable if you study. Professor is great and very kind and makes jokes throughout his lectures - great guy and interesting class

Don't listen to the bad reviews, Shapiro is a good teacher. I took his online class and the material is very interesting and he explains everything. The exams are harder than what you'll expect but they're manageable if you study. You HAVE to watch lecture videos. Textbook isn't necessary. Plus group projects are easy and they help your grade.

What a roller coaster with Shapiro online. MAKE SURE YOU ARE DISCIPLINED IF TAKING HIS ONLINE CLASS. I slacked on lectures first two exams and did HORRIBLY. His exams are very tricky but if you study hard you'll be ok. THIS IS NOT AN EASY A. His projects and assignments help you make up for difficult exams, and he is accessible for help w projects.

Shapiro is pretty great - he was clearly engaged in the course material and excited to teach it. The textbook can help you better understand concepts, but it's only used for a few questions on the exams. Group projects can be tough but he's fair and he really explains your grade. Rewatch all the lectures and reread your notes for exams.

He's pretty boring for material that could be very interesting. Three exams, multiple choice with optional essays, hard and some very objective. Two groups project, which he grades really harshly. Definitely have to go to class to get all the notes you need for exams and projects.

NOT an easy class; the exams(76% of your grade) are terrible if you are a poor test taker like me, but he does allow optional essays in each which was nice. The other part is a huge group project that is graded harshly. I just wish he had more assignments to cover the grading. Attendance is taken, but can only lower your grade.

3 Tests,3 group projects and an optional paper at the end that would lower your test grades. Tests were multiple choice and HARD. I read the textbook, rewatched the lectures and still did not do well. Graded group projects harshly and they didn't count for a lot. Optional term paper was insanely ridiculous, felt like a punishment. Take someone else

Online, no book, study lectures. Quizzes are easy google answers. exams are based off quizzes. Exams are easy if this isnt your first business class basically. took as senior and got an easy B. highly recommend online, 30 mins of work or less per week

Well be prepared to bust your ass on three group projects and an unreasonably long packet for such a small portion of your grade. Not worth taking if you want to maintain a good GPA because its a huge time consumer at the worse times in the semester when you have a ton of other projects and tests. He should restructure the grading system.

Dr. Shapiro is easy and is willing to accommodate you. I had to move my final multiple times due to vacation and he worked with me without a problem. Pretty easy A. Do homework and study basics for the tests. I took this online

super easy class. His lectures are really boring online and you really only need to watch and take notes for the 3rd test the first 2 are heavily textbook and you can just look at the slides instead of watching the videos. Homeworks are really annoying but still easy. great gpa booster class.

I took BUAD 100 online. It is a pretty easy class, if you are looking for a GPA booster take it. However I found it uninteresting and didn't really learn anything useful. Generally for the online version of the class we had between 30 and 50 min of lecture to watch a week, 1 homework a week, 3 tests during the semester and an optional final.

I love this guy! He's really funny and makes the information really easy to understand. He also responds to e-mails really quickly, and he's very helpful. I took this class online, the homeworks were a little time consuming but really easy. The tests were pretty easy as long as you study. He also made the final optional.

Great teacher! Tells funny stories and makes learning the material fun. Group projects aren't bad, just make sure to tie in the material from class and the book. Tests are a little tricky but essay q's are optional. Overall great class and he's pretty good looking too ;)

He is a great professor. He brings his outside experience into the class. He tells you upfront that the exams with be on his lectures and the book. Make sure you go to class b/c he will test you on what he talks about in class more than what you can get out of the book. And his lectures are interesting so why not go.
