Comment:
Her theater background made class really fun. Class was discussion based, very interesting. She encourages you to think deeper about everything in life. Papers are easy, makes comments on your first drafts. Fix those, you'll be fine. She's not an English professor, so you have to cater your papers to her style to do well.

Comment:
Mrs. Tague was a very nontraditional professor. The classes were strictly discussion based, and there were brief readings to be done before each class. There were 4 papers through out the year and no final! Each paper is worth 20% and participation is another 20%. She is a very fair teacher and has a great personality, I would recommend her!

Took this class just to apply to honors program but ended up thoroughly enjoying it and taking a lot away from it. She's a distinguished actress and really knows what she's talking about. Not an easy A; you've got to come to class and put the time/work in in order to do well. Highly recommended!

Demanding but fair with grading if you put enough work in. Got an A and I have never done any theater before. Enjoyed attending class.

This class was EXTREMELY tough for me as someone who genuinely has trouble with reading comprehension. She constantly quizzed us, her midterm was 91 questions long, and I felt that I was unable to enjoy the material with how fast we were going. She offered barely assignments except pop quizzes. I would not recommend this class for freshmen.

She's great! The class is so much fun and as long as you try your best when you're acting it's a guaranteed A. (Except if you're late, then she might give you a lower grade-she hates it when people are late)

Absolutely loved her. I took 104 with her last year, but definitely liked 102 better. She has such a positive energy, is hilarious and expressive in a really inspiring way. The class & her will really open you up. She puts focus on effort and improvement, so just go for it when you're acting. I enjoyed every minute of the class.

She is very strict and a stickler for respect, promptness, and attendance. If you are a chronic oversleeper, think twice. She is an excellent actress and knows a lot about theatre/performance. The key to success in this class is to strive for improvement. When the class does what is asked of them it is a very fun class, and worthwhile.

Participate and read what is assigned. Listen to everything everyone says. Do this and you will succeed. She's a crackup at times, too serious at others but I liked her.
