Took as a WI. The writing was alot of work but it helped me learn the topics. it was on zoom and he recorded the classes so we would be able to review. gave detailed lecture notes. enthusiastic and clear but sometimes went off on tangents.

Good class. Online because of Covid. clear lectures but sometimes repeated himself a lot. was very understanding and flexible about deadlines and stuff. Gave me extra time at the end because I had some family stuff going on. cares about students success. he gave detailed study guide for exams and lecture notes.

By far the most disrespectful teacher Ive ever had in my college career. Very passive aggressive with grading papers. Scheduled a meeting with the guy, he recorded the meeting without my permission, was rude in the meeting, and when I asked for the link of the recording, he would not send the link.

Noggle is amazing! He cares about his students success. The reading can be tough but he makes sure to explain everything important. He dumbs everything down so it's very easy to understand. He's always willing to help & made the transition to online during coronavirus easy. He really accommodated for our needs! Would definitely take him again!

Professor Noggle is very passionate about ethics, and does an amazing job at making his ethics class applicable to business. Other than occasional reading, there is not much homework. Grades are based on exams, reading quizzes, and one paper at the end of the semester. Powerpoints are online, but he does a great job at explaining during lecture.

One of my favorite professor at CMU, he does pop quizzes on the reading so make sure to stay caught up. He goes through his powerpoint quickly so I printed of the powerpoint and wrote down the highlight. Exams are straightforward. Kept class interesting!

There are weekly readings and reading quizzes every week. He goes over the reading extensively in the class. He rambles a lot and gets a bit off topic at times, but overall I really liked him as a professor.

Beyond being a fascinating class, Noggle really is an expert in it and he truly cares and enjoys the subject. The class is very lecture heavy and monotonous. However, I would definitely show up because he does a great job of explaining the readings. I would keep in mind that even though this class isn't a WI, there was a lot of writing involved.

I thought this class would be a good WI. I was VERY wrong, everything is extremely fast if you get confused he makes you more confused by explaining something off topic. He is a very VERY fast talker, for me, I got easily lost and that set me back more and more. If you don't put in the effort of reading the books and doing the essays you won't pass

go to class and do the reading and you'll be fine. mostly lecture but everything is clearly expalined. The texts are hard but Noggle explains the thought process behind them and makes them relatable. he expects a lot on the papers but if you bring him a draft he will help you do a good job and get a good grade. easy reading quizes

Good class overall. the readings are hard but he goes over everything in class. lots of feedback on papers and a lot of it is there to help you write better and not just about content. Weekly reading quizes on blackboard help your grades because they are open book and you get three tries. mostly lecture but not to bad.

Only 3 essays throughout the term, which isn't bad for a writing intensive. Readings assigned for homework and then they are discussed in class. Can be a bit boring at times, but if you take notes and pay attention while he discusses the readings, the essays write themselves.

Only grades on Blackboard were a midterm, a final, and two long essays. He was vague about what he wanted but graded on a hard rubric. He left good feedback on the papers, but unfortunately, it felt more like an English class than a philosophy course. I did not feel like I learned a lot of applicable ethics here and he did not listen to students

This class isn't bad. Material can be a bit dry. Three tests. if you do the reading and show up for class and study the powerpoints, you shoudl be fine. also some group work and some easy quizzes with lots of bonus points to help pull up your grades. their pop quizzes, but he gives lots of hints about when they will be.

If you want a professor that makes you feel stupid, well here he is! This guy acts like we already know the stuff he is teaching us. This guy is the classic evil professor. His reviews on papers make you want to crawl up in a ball and die. They are very rude and are likely to put down a persons confidence.

As an online class he clearly tells you what is expected. Every week you get an assignment with several cases on it then you give your opinion (with the course material) and you will get 100 points. He posts word documents for the lecture but look at the power point summary for each week, easier to comprehend the useful info and leave out the rest.

Dr. Noggle has been one of my favorites. The class isnt difficult if you go every day and take good notes either. He's always available in office hours and gives really good help then with anything you need. The readings are hard, but his lectures are easy to follow and he explains everything well. Definitely one of my favorite professors

He tests you on things you talk about in class. The reading guide is extrememly usefull and should be used when reading. Reading packets are extrememly difficult to understand but if you go over them with a friend and highlight it makes it so much easier. If you take good notes in class you'll be fine.
