Online intro to programming class. No "tests" but lots of difficult problems. Grades are 99% based in Zylab online "textbook". Can be difficult content and can take alot of time (6+ hrs) each week to work through material to understand. He also does recorded lectures for each chapter to help explain. Has been available for questions via email.

Online class used Zylabs platform. The study material on the platform could be confusing, but the supplemental lectures from Professor Smith were helpful and well thought out. Grading is clear throughout the semester in Zylabs so you will always know where you stand based on the amount of work you put in.

I took an online class with him and had a great experience. Whenever I had a question regarding the material he responded right away with how to correct it. Very knowledgeable. The assignments are set up so you can take them as many times as you want until you get your desired grade. No reason not the get an A in his class. Highly recommended!

I have a brain injury so school isn't always so easy for me. Mr. Smith was extremely helpful and accommodating and often gave me full credit for assignments that weren't perfect because he knew I worked hard (we had frequent email correspondence) He responds to emails quickly and leads you in the right direction without giving all the answers.

For being an online professor, Kenneth Smith is amazing at helping teach the material. In the programming class, he is very skilled at deciphering my code, and being able to tell what my bugs are, and give me very helpful and easy to understand feedback. If my major was computer science, I would definitely look for his name again on my class list!!

I took him for an online class. He was very helpful and for the lessons he made multiple teaching options available for online learning that was centered towards multiple learning styles. He was very kind and seems really passionate about the subject. Highly recommen!

I took professor smith for a summer class I needed. great guy, made all the homework available the first day so you could work ahead. always responded to my emails within 24 hours with clear answers. Overall I finished the class 2 weeks early and with an A. would take again.

I have had Prof. Smith for two different classes, and I feel the same way about both of them. He did a fantastic job with assignments and grading, and gave useful feedback about my assignments throughout the semester. He was well organized, and I will continue to take any class I can that Prof. Smith offers.

Horrible class experience, teacher posts material sure, but none of it ever pertains to what we are currently working on. He does not allow for extra credit either, and every time you email him to ask a question, he gives the bare minimum possible for an explanation. Class we very difficult because of this, would NOT recommend.

This was the easiest computer application class I have ever taken! I did an online hybrid for this course and even at a fast pace it was an easy A. I highly recommend this teacher because he is so helpful and is super fast to respond to emails. Tests answers are right out of the text, very helpful!

Very easy class. He lays out exactly what you need to do for each assignment and as long as you do that, he'll give you 100 for it. Very helpful and understanding but the lectures can be a bit boring - he over-explains. Really nice guy though and an easy A. Definitely recommend him to get this class out of the way.

This the first programming course I ever took and the way the course was organized worked very well for me. The sessions in class were very helpful and when I got stuck the lab tutors were also able to help me out.
