I can't say enough good things about Professor Loomis. Chemistry is a hard subject, but she's a great guide and you will learn in her class. She has witty anecdotes and real world connections for the material covered in class and her lectures are very interesting. I genuinely miss her class! She's caring, and you have tutor access if needed.

First time the class was taught and Dr. Loomis did a great job. 3 hour class taught once a week: 1/2 was lecture, other 1/2 was labs. Once you do labs in class no homework. Just take a photo with tiny scanner and submit it. Tests were online and time consuming. Best to do in a group while using the textbook that is provided. ?s best to email her.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!! I took this class as a maymester and I highly recommend it. Every class is fun and interesting and she makes you want to get in the classroom ASAP. There is nothing that I did not like about her or the class. The work is manageable and she is always there to help. Take her if you can; you will love her!

I really enjoyed this course. I took a maymester section, two weeks. This was an intense course for the amount of info covered in the time. This is a course teaching perspective teachers. She constructs the lecture around the methods being covered, it gives real time example of the material. It really is genius. I will take another class if I can.

Took her for MayMester - Most brilliant teacher I have had @ KSU. Hilarious, fun, and intelligent. She makes it obvious that she cares for each student individually & will do anything she can to help her students succeed. I wish I had more characters to describe how much I enjoyed her class & her as a person. Would recommend 10/10!

I took this class in a Maymester and loved it! Dr. Loomis is an awesome professor and really makes you want to be a teacher. She is so funny and makes the 4-5 hour class go by fast. There are 2 tests, 3 lesson plans, 10 hour observation hours, and many discussion posts to do in a 2 week period. It requires hard work, but its manageable. TAKE HER!!!

Dr. Loomis is amazing! She is my favorite professor I have had maybe all through college. I feel less nervous now about classroom managment. She is a tough grader though, if you follow the rubrics though you will be fine. She just is very specific in her rubrics, and if you do not follow it she will give you a bad grade. Shes still great!

She brought her dog to class, if that doesn't make you want to take her then I don't know what will. She has also been the best education professor I have taken thus far. I learned so much about building relationships with my students and managing my classroom. She is amazing and everyday in her class is a lot of fun.

I just took Dr. Loomis in a maymester and let me tell you.. she is AMAZING! I would take every class with her for the rest of my college career if I could! She is very approachable, knowledgeable, funny, and accepting. She will work with you if you do not understand or are having trouble. Responds to all emails within minutes. Take her class!!!

Dr.Loomis is absolutely fantastic. She is the teacher we all inspire to be--seriously. She teaches you what you really want to know about teaching and what you can actually use in the classroom. I recommend her for any class you can take her for. You actually enjoy coming into her class everyday to learn. Seriously SHE'S THE BEST!

She is amazing! Her class is not hard, she doesn't give tests, but she does make you think and there are many "look at yourself" assignments. I learned more from her than I have from any other teacher at KSU so far. My favorite teacher. If you can take her, do it!!!

Dr. Loomis is my favorite teacher ever. She is so funny and the class is very entertaining. The assignments are not too hard-she explains them very well and lets you work on them in class. The tests are open-book. The way she does her lessons is very cool-you learn everything you need to know without even trying. Definately would recommend her
