Great guy and great professor. Really cares about his students and their success, although won't actively seek out those that are struggling. If you come to him, he super accommodating and helpful. He lectures a bit (and can ramble, but not much) and most of the discussion comes from the readings. Creative in teaching and overall has a good vibe.

Excellent professor, one of the best! Be sure to read your books and to be ready to listen, there is a lot to be learned from this class. Too bad there are not many great teachers like him.

You are graded on 7 quizzes and two long papers. Tests are not hard, but students have to take it every two weeks. Students have to put a lot of effort in this course in order to get an A. The professor is very helpful.

Most definitely the best History professor at USF ! His lectures are interesting and make you want to come to every class. His grading criteria is fair. I think they should just fire all other history teachers ( besides Kruze) and make them teach all the classes lol

Great professor but he could lower the work load. 2 papers and several quizzes or exams. The content itself was easy but the amount of content we had to digest was excessive.

As far as a prof/ntellectual I think the first question on rating your teacher is adequate. Excellent prof. The level of difficulty might be marked usual at the moment, but a student can take much more from him later than they realize. Attendance is mandatory if a person wants to take anything from an exceptional prof. Hotness? Really dumb question

Wonderful professor. Understanding and flexible with grading, easy lecture, and just a nice guy. His lectures are very specific but in general exams are more vague, so its easy to prepare. Originally was supposed to have 2 papers in the semester but made the 2nd one extra credit.

Professor Neaman is kind, nice, and fair. He cares about his students. This class is interesting, however, it's boring. What I like about this class is that there's no papers, only 10 quizzes and one final exam.

Amazing professor. Honestly most insightful course i've ever taken at USF, I grew so much intellectually after this class. He really knows his stuff and cares more about good work, than any bureaucratic norms. Work hard because you won't fool him. The material is carefully chosen. Participating in discussion goes a long way. Highly recommend him.

Prof. Neaman is the MAN. Extremely intelligent and looks somewhat like an evil genius. His lectures are very gripping, thought-provoking, and he is very down to earth. He is pretty easygoing and doesn't stress much. Highly Recommend taking one of his classes. He can teach really difficult material better than anyone i've met

I've had him for several classes. First, he's not that old, not old at all - only by ignorant twenty-something standards. He is, however, quite busy, but still helpful. A good teacher with a comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to convey it effectively. Also, a nice guy. Certainly, not bad looking but no George Clooney.

He should retire, poor guy. So old, oh so very, very old. And alarmingly so! I was afraid something might happen each class. It's so sad to see old teachers :( He must enjoy it I suppose. He's a very busy guy apparently so don't take him if you enjoy a good rapport with your profs. Overall, distracted and, oh yeah, old.

I took two of his classes and very much enjoyed both of them. He cares abut his students and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter. This is a LECTURE based course. You should read the text book, but can get away with out if you go to class. If you have to take a History class, take him. Canadian Gerorge Clooney?

I wouldn't trust a criticism where the writer spells "bored" as "board." Perhaps the problem isn't with the teacher, but with the student.

He does look like Bob Dylan, but he has read this and wants people to say he looks more like Jon Stewart/a young George Clooney. Is that libelous?
