Mark is a great guy with a lot of experience. If you really listen to and engage with him, your experience will be great. Also, I appreciate how Mark lets his students think for themselves. Many health admin professors are super biased and push their opinions on students, but Mark keeps things pretty neutral and lets them form their own opinions.

Little to no communication from the professor. Unorganized. He is understanding when things come up, but this class is hard. Tests are timed and have to be submitted on a lock-in browser. He also requires three web sessions which are very inconvenient in terms of times and they are 3 hours long.

He was a very unorganized professor and all our grade reflected was quizzes you had to take online each week and then two midterms that were also online on lockdown browser. Not impressed.

Professor Cwiek is a great teacher! If you take the semester-long class there are more assignments. You are assigned a chapter presentation, a case presentation and then a group presentation. However, it really isn't as bad as it sounds. Attendance is mandatory. Make sure you pay attention since there is pop quizzes. You for sure need the book!

I did the 4-day summer course. Well worth the long days. Highly recommend starting assignments and reading as soon as he opens the blackboard shell. The course is typical Dr. Cwiek style. It is a pretty easy course if you put the effort in and he is sensitive to the fact that its a long day and we are not all going into law. But I learned a lot.

Quizzes and exams are as though he opens the book to a random page, fines a line and asks "true or false?" The lectures are done by the students so it can be hard to fully grasp the information when the presenters do not even grasp it, but he does his best to clarify. He is a VERY knowledgeable man so it is well advised to listen when he speaks.

Prof. Cwiek is caring and passionate in everything he does. One of the best, if not THE BEST, professor, I have had a Central Michigan University. I am a graduate student so I have had my fair share of professors and this one takes the cake.

This class was not bad. I had the class for the 3 weekend in the semester. It goes by fast but the class itself is pretty boring. Some things are interesting, however, it drags on. There are quizzes and a final exam. Need to read and participate to get a good grade. As always, Dr. Cwiek is very knowledgable about the subject.

Dr. Cwiek has a ton of experience and great advice! The class is a lot of reading and the quizzes and tests are based off of the textbook. If you participate and receive SLC's your grade will improve dramatically. You better attend class or your grade is doomed.

Mr. Cwiek is very nice and very knowledgable. However 520 is TON TON TON of busy work :( He tries to hard to cement things in your head that he makes you read, present, talk about, etc. the same thing 5 times. Personally by the time I was done I was sick of it and never want to hear the words "health administration" ever again.

Professor Cwiek is by far my favorite! Any opportunity I get, I take his classes. He is very helpful, and if you volunteer to do SLC's your grade increases dramatically. Make sure you read over the syllabus, and turn in your homework on time. If you pay attention and attend his classes, this course is an easy A.

This course should not be offered online but rather in a "real" classroom. The material covered did not offer the same value as other courses. I learned very little and retained almost nothing. I will not recommend this course to other students Additionally, I do not understand why quizzes and exams are available only on the weekend.

GREAT TEACHER! I wish he taught more classes for Health Admin! His classes aren't hard, and you learn a lot! He is very smart and uses real life examples to teach. He also has interesting speakers come to class as well! Highly recommend him! Also, he teaches 203 with his wife. They are the cutest couple ever and so happy and helpful!

Pretty easy class. All exams are open book, open notes, and multiple choice/TF. He has students do chapter powerpoints so it gets tedious and a bit boring as you get towards the end of the semester. Gives out extra credit all the time. Definitely take this prof over any others!
