4 test super easy if you just listen to his lectures and skim the book 60 min for 60 question nothing major. No Hw. Lectures are funny and informative you can tell that he cares about the subject he teaches. He said when the average was about an A for one test "Im not gonna make it harder cause its A avg, that just means im doing my job."

Above an 85 is an A and he provides extra credit. His PowerPoints aren't very detailed but he talks a lot about interesting topics. Some of the stuff on the test was never taught in the lecture. Expect to read at least the chapter summaries in the (non-mandatory) book.

Professor Fuchs was really helpful throughout the semester. His lectures are interesting but it's not necessary to go. You learn a lot of things that can be useful in whatever your future career will be. Make sure to read the book because thats mainly where test questions come from. He also gives reviews and some practice questions prior to exams.

Lectures are fun and entertaining but BEWARE, you are very unlikely to receive an A in this course. Not quite sure where some of his exam questions come from. Reading chapters help but questions are deceiving and difficult. He does count an 85 as an A which is a helping curve.

The best professor I have had in my college career. He really elaborates his PowerPoint slides and gives plenty of examples. He only puts information that you need to know in the slides. Pay attention to the lecture. The book helps a lot too.

No point what so ever going to this class, he lectures on everything except whats on his test. Which is fine honestly but when it has nothing to do with the test and there is only 4 it kind of screws you over. The class itself is east but i felt like he made it difficult to put it all together. His TA celina (SP?) was amazing there to help whenever

Professor Fuchs is funny and engaging. He makes a lot of drug jokes but is also very aware of the societal issues that drugs bring about. A great guy. With the lectures alone you could likely make a B in the class. With reading the chapters before the exam its an easy A.

He tests are so hard and he grades so harshly. He's the type of prof that you high school teacher was talking about. His test are hard for no reason, and he doesn't even teach that well.

Mixed feelings about this class. Highly entertaining lectures about the various drug-related subjects, but spends so much time telling stories that he does not cover much material. What is discussed in lecture is vague compared to what is on the exam, so make sure you read and pay attention to details, because they will be tested on.

Dr. Fuchs made this already interesting class even more interesting. He's got lots of jokes, his tests are fair, and he's always checking in on the class to make sure we understand the material. This class is not hard if you put in the work it takes to study. 4 tests only, A+ guy in my book.

He's pretty funny, Canadian so isn't rude or anything lol Kinda have to show up to pass, one of those classes that seem hard if you don't pay attention. But when you do, you're like oh he's making this make sense. NOT about the social aspects of drugs so don't expect him to be all drug fiend like. He's pretty educated.

Ok so i just took his winter-mester class and as far as I am concerned, he is the best and really fun professor I have taken. Biggest thing students are missing nowadays-SHOW UP TO CLASS & PAY ATTN. He gave an extra assignment which shifts your entire grade up, if you do it. He has always answered my emails in time and always very reasonable.

In my four years at UTA, this is the only C I have ever gotten. The prof is good and the material is interesting but the exams are so hard. You need to really read the book and understand everything in order to pass the exams. I wish I would have not taken it.

honestly do not know how he is still teaching. Does not reply to emails in a timely manner. Has his ta do everything minus the lectures, although she does some. She has so much attitude. No extra credit and there are only 4 exams. You have to read the book because his test want detailed answers even though he himself doesn't even cover it.

I took him for Drugs and Behavior and it was so bad! I ended up barely passing with a C. I read the whole book, all the chapters and attended the majority of the lectures and still barely passed the exams. Be prepared to read, def wont take again.

His lectures are the best. You will never be bored in class; I did learn a lot but it was tough. Your grade is based on only 4 tests; there is no final. But the test are crazy hard!!! You HAVE to read the book to do good on the test and its a lot of conceptual material. Only 10% of what he goes over in lecture is on the test. (an 86 is an A)

he's nice enough, very corny. his lectures are sooo boring thankfully the class is so huge that if you choose to skip theres always someone thats going to give you the notes for the day. his tests are somewhat difficult but most of the questions come from the book. READ THE BOOK can't say that enough. a B in any other class equates to an A in his
