Comment:
Dr. Ross was very caring, he responded to emails right away and he gave amazing feedback. The course was heavy in content and I spent most of my time working on medieval studies and the assignments were a lot of work. Although, Dr. Ross was an amazing professor so he made up for all the work.

Dr. Ross was absolutely amazing. He was very clear as to what he wanted in papers and he was super understanding if you needed extensions or something was going to be late. He really cares about the students and I 100% would take his classes

Comment:
The online course was interesting, however the activities in each lesson seemed a tad bit pointless and redundant. I skipped many of the readings and activities & still achieved an A+. Despite this, Dr. Ross was helpful and entertaining. On several occasions I e-mailed him for help and he responded promptly and politely.

First term was definitely easier than second, but overall, a great prof. Did his best to make the students interested in the subject, and came across as a really great prof. Watch for his Captain Morgan pose when lecturing :P

AMAZING prof. So passionate about what he teaches and always wanting to make it more interesting for his students. While sometimes the exams are alittle tricky as long as you keep up with his material you will be fine. Heis by far one of my favourites

Great guy and really interesting prof. I had a lecture from 7-9:20pm and he always gave a break mid way, and we watched a film for the second half. Pay attention to the films, there are some questions on tests about them. Explains things well and is really energetic and helpful, would definitely take a course with him again!

Prof can be entertaining and interesting, but I frequently fell asleep during boring, boring lectures. What he talks about during lectures is often not on tests, and he gets off-topic a lot.

Passionate, hilarious, and an incredibly nice person! He knows exactly what he is talking about, and works hard to express it to his students. He always has an interesting story to tell you, and is never without a smile for a student that says hello in the hall. An all around good guy and prof. He was the one who inspired me to be a medievalis

Worst prof in the world, he ruins the rep that WLU has for its Archaeology Department. Learned nothing at all and midterms were on subjects that were not discussed in detail in class. Avoid at all costs!!

He's pretty good. Lectures can get a little dry at times, but it's mostly because of some of the topics. Other than that, he's a great guy. Awesome backhoe story too.
