Great tutor. I went from a low B in 1010 to an A in 1011! If you don't understand a concept, she will explain it from a different angle until you really get it.

Well, I did pretty good on the course. The only reason was that Susan explained things until they were clear. She was much more approachable than the other instructors in the help center.

boring, boring, boring. i hate hate hate chemistry. most boring person ever, but considering the alternatives, she's your best option. first time i saw her was just a half a glimpse, and she had her back to me... i thought she was man. a very skinny gay guy. picture that! seems to care about her students though.

Horrible, horrible tutorial professor. Comes to class unprepared, does questions through, only to redo it twice before dubbing it correct. No point in going to the tutorials anyway as there are handouts available in the Chemistry HelpCenter. I pick those up and do them. It's easier than trying to follow this professor!

Well i find her much better than my actually lecture prof. I hate chem anyway but when your in the "New" building and cant hear your lecture cause the stupid microphone doesnt work, you have to go to the tutorial to understand whats going on. I think shes good.

Analogies can be a very insightful and helpful learning tool. But when over used they can be very confusing, like talking in riddles. Susan tries to come up with an analogy for everything. It's very annoying. She is not orgainized and her handouts are full of unfunny, analogous cartoons.

Susan helped me in the help center while doing 1010. she was great. So i was more then happy to have her for tutorials in 1011. What a fool I was! Although good in the helpcenter (when she is not answering her cell phone) she gives the worst turorials. very unorgainized, impossible to follow

the most unclear and unprepared tutorial instructor EVER. Don't even try to understand what she is saying there is no point. She goes all the way through a problem before being told she has done it wrong. One more thing don't try to leave her classes early.

If she's in the help centre don't even bother to go in. She'll do the problem totally wrong then claim that the answer on the assignment must be wrong. Big Help that is.

She made it a lot easier to understand, and gave students time to actually undestand things instead of racing on with powerpoint. Intersession was good. smaller classes, great notes, and demos in class.
