I honestly don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. Is this the easiest class I've ever taken? No. But is it the hardest class? Definitely not. She is very nice and understanding and really not as harsh as some of these reviews make her seem.

Comment:

The quizzes for each chapter lecture will relate maybe 10% of the time. If you work or have other classes get ready to read the book which is material heavy but even so that may not help for the tests. She makes it clear that the quizzes will not help you when it comes to studying for the test and questions are very specific. No study guides.

Dr. Schofield is a tough grader/professor, but she's a genuine person who really does want to see you pass. She tries extremely hard to get her point across and is a very good lecturer, people are just scared of asking questions. She'll work with you at any time and is always available in her office hours. If you put in no effort, sucks for you.

Professor Schofield is a pretty normal lady. If she sees you're putting in effort, she'll care. If she doesn't, she'll be your worst enemy. She expects for everyone in the class to understand what she's talking about because she assigns homework every night. All of her exams are difficult and different than the study guide so get ready.

This was my least favorite class. it is very boring and she is not the best professor. Her tests are very difficult and have 5 answer choices instead of 4 to purposely throw you off. Thank god for the lab because it really balances out your grade. she ended up giving my class a good amount of extra credit which helped a lot.

Dr. Sherry is the worst professor I've ever had. She does not fully understand the course material herself so she struggles teaching the concepts and then gets angry with the class when we help each other. Using threats, profanity, telling us she "doesn't want to see us anymore", and creating a hostile environment lead this class to total chaos.

By far the worst professor I have ever had at Florida State. She is disrespectful and is constantly being negative towards students. For the midterm, her study advice was to "study long and hard". Make every effort you can to avoid having her as your professor.

Literally the most disrespectful teacher I have ever had. Students try to ask questions in class and she will either ignore them or make some smart ass comment about whatever you say. Simply plain rude and do not know how she is even aloud to teach. Its a math class you can't just stand up there an talk and expect students to get it.

Dr. Schofield made very little effort to listen to her students. Everything she said was negative. Many of my peers struggled and she offered no help at all, even as the department chair. Our lab classes had no hands-on work at all, only worksheets which is ridiculous for a 2-hour lab class. I had high hopes for this class but she let me down.

The worst professor I have ever taken in my life. Paid almost $900 for a class with a lab section to never do hands on lab activities. Half the class was failing, which is sad because she is the RMPD department head, made sure students knew that too when they complained about how they were failing. Pray you never have to take her
