I've had many other art classes that are just boring copies of each other, but Kaleeka really will go out of her way to help guide you to your fullest potential. She is so caring, inspiring and has amazing feedback. Her technique lectures actually make sense and have reason to everything. Carry her lessons with you and your art will change forever.

She gives good feedback but expects you to draw like a professional artist. Doesn't grade everything. I had a B- in canvas and she gave me a C for a final grade and didn't even grade literally half the projects. Avoid if at all possible.

Prof Quaye gives great feedback on your work and her projects will challenge you. Her lectures are on point and she provides all the necessary resources for you to be successful in the class. She has interesting projects and is available anytime to help you if needed. Her personality is vibrant and she makes class fun.

Professor Quaye is an outstanding professor. She's very blunt but she does it all so that you can grow to your full potential and I really appreciated that. She is a tough grader but only because she expects the best of you and takes into account your abilities while she does. I feel that I grew so much in just this semester's class.

This was the best art class I have ever taken. An amazing artist, gives great feedback and is very encouraging when you are struggling. Encourages students to reach out at any time with questions, classwork was extremely helpful for improving my art, I learned so much and feel very lucky for the opportunity to have her as my art teacher.

Prof. Quaye is such an amazing person. She is not only funny but also understanding & patient with her students. She understands how people learn at a different pace & I think that's great because not everyone is experienced when it comes to Art/ Drawing. The only thing I would like to say is that, make sure to have some experience; it can be hard!

Kaleeka is always very energetic and has an all around great attitude. She is willing to give you honest and constructive feedback to help you become a better artist, and also helps you notice the subtleties required in learning certain techniques that will improve your skills in the long run. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

Her class is difficult in the beginning when you don't really know what you're doing, but Kaleeka helps you to get better and helps you to problem solve on classwork. Kaleeka is very helpful. If you come to class on time and do your best on the classwork and homework, then you will probably get an A.

Kaleeka leads the 6-hour class very well and I have never felt bored in the class. Her class is well scheduled, expectations are properly set and we know which models will be in class. She has an upbeat and possitive personality which gives energy in the classroom. I appreciated the fact that she brought numerous heavy art books to each class. ��

I'd like to thank Kaleeka for not only teaching me how to improve as an artist, but to improve as a person. Personal issues came up which caused me to miss some classes, this of course lowered my possible grade, but she sat me down and helped me see, not only what I need to work on for make up, but to understand I need to straighten out to succeed.

This was my first art class. I am not an art major but I have a great interests in it and I wanted to start from figure drawing. Kaleeka is a great teacher. I learned a lot through this semester. I loved that we used different medium and learned new things every week. It was very refreshing and you would never get bored.

Great teacher, love that she's so easy to contact outside of class for questions, gives descriptive feedback with reasoning why things would look better. I could tell that I was going to learn a lot, which I did. She's super knowledgeable and picks art pieces apart so the feedback you get is great constructive criticism, which I enjoyed.
