I love Dr. Nash. She is so kind and very willing to help. She responds to emails very quickly and provides a lot of help. She's super bubbly and funny. She's a real gem. As for ISAT 113, the material is a little challenging (it is a science class after all) but it is also super interesting. Definitely recommend this course and Dr. Nash!

Ive had a lot of ups and downs with this lady.. For the most part she's a nice lady and has pretty interesting and thought-provoking lectures that gets everyone involved (usually 280 is a small class), but can also be downright mean and not understanding when it comes to minor things. Some days I like her and other days I can't stand her.

Nash is super sweet and very passionate. She'll make you work hard for an A, but it is attainable. It is VITAL that you read the textbook. She bases lectures, papers, and tests off its content. Attendance is important to her, so skipping class is not a good choice. Keep pace with the readings she assigns and follow her study guides.

Nash knows what she is talking about, but you will work for an A or B. She assigns a LOT of reading and the reading quizzes are extremely nit picky. She enjoys the topic and makes lectures interactive as best she can. There is one big group project, but it's not that bad. The midterm and final are fair, just study.

Class was pretty easy, but it's very necessary to read the book. You can do the study guides but if you don't read your test grades will fall. 3 exams and a 5 page essay. Also, you're expected to learn all the countries of the world. This wasn't my favorite class, but I ended up doing better than I expected

Nash is a quite nice person and professor. That said, in order to succeed in her class, it's required that you put forth the effort to read all that is assigned, so if you hate reading, don't take. Although the book is more useful than class, she sometimes brings up stuff that will not be in the book, and will be on the test, so make sure to attend

Her lectures are usually pretty boring, but the class is relatively easily overall. Not too many assignments, but you definitely need a textbook to fully understand the lectures.

Ms. Nash was a good geography teacher. She was very passionate about what she was teaching. She does not take attendance but it is wise to go to class. You definitely have to study for her tests but she makes it somewhat easier by posting up study guides.

This is not a bad class at all. It doesn't require much work or studying. I got an A- and I only studied the night before each test and I did the paper the night before it was due. The class is kind of boring, but it's a pretty easy gen-ed. I definitely recommend it.

HATE geography!! I skipped a lot of her classes-they seemed pointless at the time, but REALLY wish I hadnt. She is SO passionate about what she teaches which makes geog so much more interesting. DEF TAKE HER, but study hard & don't blow off the class, its worth it in the end. 2 TESTS (HER STUDY GUIDES ARE ON BB) 1 PAPER/PROJECT + FINAL = not bad!

She's very enthusiastic about her job and is pretty nice. The exams aren't too hard as long as you do the reading. In this class we had to do a day of field work and the paper we had to write sucked!

quite possibly the most boring class to sit through. she is passionate about what she is teaching but it is almost impossible to listen to what she is saying because it is so boring. the tests aren't too bad. final not cumulative. i wouldn't say to stay clear but if you can get a better class or professor i would recommend it.

you'll rarely find a teacher as passionate about what she teaches as Dr.N thats one amazing thing about her, she can't help but tell stories and engage the class. she expects a lot of you on the tests. her study guides are hell but they prepare you above and beyond for her exams. its that class you love&hate because its interesting but hard! STUDY!

Nash is a great professor! She really enjoys teaching and encourages people to participate even though most of the class just sat there and stared into oblivion. Just do the study guides and you'll do fine on the tests. research paper was graded easily.

learned SO much from this class. nash is really into the subject and is passionate about teaching it. if you go to class, read the book and DO THE STUDY GUIDES for the test you will get a good grade. 10 page research paper is the only drawback. otherwise the class was amazing.
