Such a sweet guy. Gives very engaging lectures and obviously likes what he does. Really great, clear material. Listen to what he says and youll have no trouble passing any of his classes. Take a class with him if you have a chance, hes a breath of fresh air in a sea of dry professors.

Such a nice guy, he did a good job with the online format this year. Slides were not too long and he keeps things light (doesn't drone on, keeps you engaged with the learning). Easy quizzes and fairly easy midterm, cant wait to have him for Social Psych next sem!

I still can't believe that this man was able to make research and statistics the highlight of my week in online school. He makes all the math really easy to understand and uses plenty of examples to help you along the way. Great slide format. It almost feels like being back in the classroom because his lectures are so engaging.

Awesome lecturer! Always excited and jumping around to keep the class room alive. Basically just knowing the definitions that are given to you in class. He does not post them online so you HAVE to go to class. Also pulls a lot of stuff from the textbook for the tests! Great professor!

Hands down the best professor I have ever had at Mount A! He makes classes super enjoyable and the time flies by with a ton of laughs. He's great at what he teaches and knows how to make the material stick in your mind. I recommend him for everyone, you won't regret it!

He is such a delightful professor and person. Although the topic of this class had the potential to be dull or uncomfortable because it is a bit taboo in our society, he made it interesting and easy to talk about. I would highly recommend taking any course with him, but especially this one.

I love this man! Very engaging lecturer . He seems like he really tries to pull some excitement out of the students, which is not so easy to do. Fair tests. Make sure you read the textbook.

Fantastic lecturer. Very funny and animated. Takes time to explain the material. Managed to make a stats class enjoyable. Tests are long, however; don't be fooled if he says they won't be!

I would like to see him use powerpoint slides for his lecture presentations instead of the prinouts with a document camera, as they take more time to line up and use during the lecture, seemed slow at times. He is interested in student questions, and will seek out answers and inform the class the next time if he is unsure. His tests are pretty long

Such a nice guy teaching such a dull class. Attendance is optional, and if you miss a day that will only put you a couple of lines behind as he really... Takes his time. The only thing more painful than attending the lecture was attending the lab with STEFAN (assignments take forever but are worth nothing)! Still, the tests were super easy! :)

Dr. Oldfield is a good prof. I didn't appreciate his stubbornness to enter the 21st century and use powerpoint slides, but he enriches his lecture with cartoons and stories. Don't expect any help from him as a program advisor. He almost seemed unaware that he was a PSYC program advisor.

He was a straight forward professor. He explained everything very well. He always ended class at least 20mins early (1hr20min classes). His midterms were too long but were not difficult. He made the class fun with jokes and cartoons. He is a great department head, very helpful and kind.

He is a really fun teacher. His classes are really fun and he has a good sense of humor. Not very helpful outside of class (program Advisor) but definetly a class I enjoyed going to. Midterms and exams are pretty hard but not impossible. Material is quite interesting.
