This was a new class, and I liked it. His lectures were helpful for an overview of the module. Lots of reading required. Assignments were good. He was flexible when you approached him to discuss. Solid professor.

This class is literally just guest lecturers, which isn't bad and you get to essentially hear most of the profs in planning. The course is 3 essays, which are not long at all (I think 1500 words), the last essay is in a group. Also if you didn't agree with your mark, you could talk to him during office hours to discuss it.

Although this course was consisted of guest lecturers, professor Seasons was fantastic as a lecturer as well. The lectures were something I looked forward too every week. The course only consists of 3 papers that add up to the final mark. Seasons is incredibly humorous and would always use a bright pink telephone to call up I.T which was hilarious.

Since he has nothing to teach, every class ends early. He spends hours explaining an assignment that is already due and spends the next hour answering phone calls and making us to watch videos. Guest lectures are usually decent, however, this prof is useless. His jokes are hardly funny. Worst prof ever had. He just don't bother to teach knowledge

As a professor he's average. As a person he's an arse. He asked me flat out in a completely rude manner if I had a learning disability. What if I did? That's certainly not the way to approach it. Full disclosure - years later I found out I have a sleeping disorder but I still graduated Dean's List so certainly don't have a learning disability.

This professor literally had to ask a student to look up the lecture topic for that class online. He was unprepared for classes, offensive and arrogant.

Makes inappropriate comments about things like: age, background--makes fun of people with degrees other than planning (even his guest lecturers). Makes inappropriate comments which he thinks will "build character" (e.g. he told us wants to see "tears" and "throw-up"). Class work was easy, but it disturbing to listen to him.

completely a useless prof who invites guest speakers. If you are an architecture reject, he will make you feel like crap. Assignments not clear; loser program + department.

Don't bother attending lectures unless he's talking about the assignments. He jokes a lot but they're hardly ever funny. His class consists of writing a few words on the white board and inviting guest speakers for basically ALL of the lectures. Slides are always posted online, resourceful information also posted. Doesn't deserve to be Dean.

He jokes around too much, but I don't find him funny that much. He is a nice guy though. He is not motivating, and is a hard marker as well. You don't really learn anything from him directly, but his guest speakers are good, and they are the real 'teachers' in class.

Best class ever taken. Everything is group work so your mark depends on how social you are. Great real-world learning experience.

Mark cares about his status at the university WAY more than he cares about his students. He is totally disinterested in his grad students' work, and he doesn't really care about what he is teaching.

Too many jokes, I learned nothing in his class, except to "look presentable" at an OMB hearing. Compulsory, so you have to take it. Didn't need to show up every day, just download powerpoint presentations.

He is a great prof, but because he jokes around so much, most classes feel like a waste of time. The whole couse is composed of three assignments, and really you only needed to attend the lectures where he actually talked about the assignments to get a good mark. Don't bother going to the theater, go to this class instead.

Arguably the best planning prof on campus (and according to the imprint the hottest?) Takes an incredibly dry subject and makes it interesting. Go to the lectures and it will be easy, read the text and its a joke. Treats you like an equal and truly wants you to do well. Willingly gave our class an extension on 2/3 asst's.

2nd to Pierre Fillion, he is my fav in PLAN dept. like his JAZZ music and his pace. Alright approachable if he is not busy. But lets be honest, we all love him and want him here no matter what we get in class. wonder if he has a son

Exceptionally friendly professor. Always very helpful and easy to approach (I still keep in touch to date). Genuinely seems to want to impart knowledge to his students. Amazingly made provincial enabling-legislation palatable by keeping class upbeat and jolly. Sexy planner beard. And so on.

Who cares if he talks about things outside the course such as tv? It's called making a class (which i may add was horrendously boring material) INTERESTING. Seriously, the fact he can make legislation INTERESTING is remarkible. amazing prof. Oh and he doesn't play faves, you are just an idiot.

this guy is halarious. By far the most useful course in first year planning. Course is pretty not too hard- only three reports, no exam! Very clear use of powerpoint presentations, and he puts `em up on UWOne.
