smart, but not as smart as he thinks he is. he uses abstract arguments to make himself seem correct. Bloated ego laden discussions leave you frustrated. Wide and interesting array of subjects which are practical. Most "in the know" think he is a quack. Drives a shnazzy blue car that makes him look like an idiot with a mid life crisis.

Comment:
Very rude and arrogant. Tends to pick favourites and if you're not considered one...good luck. The actual content of the course was very interesting, but having him as the prof really made it unenjoyable.

Very interesting individual. Highly knowledgeable about medicine and culture. However, EXTREMELY difficult to talk to - you walk away wondering "did i say something wrong?" - dissagree with him he corrects you. agree with him - he corrects you. He just likes to be 100% right. One on one communication very poor! Lectures fun -but all over the place.

Tests are open-book and fairly easy, but it's difficult to take good notes when he rambles, jumps back and forth between a list of websites that's altered everyday, and he's just plain hard to understand. This is probably one of the hardest classes he teaches.

Smart, devoted to his ideas, ego-laden to a fault, rude, funny, and he needs to realize that other people need to talk too not just him and talking over someone doesnt make you right! on a good note, if you ask for guidance or help etc he will do it...he practices what he preaches (systems thought) he has wide and detailed knowlege on many things..

Best prof I've ever had! His range of knowledge is incredible & he's passionate about passing it on to his students. He seems really random in his lectures, but it all comes up on the tests... so listen and you'll do very well!

Reads straight from the book, which makes it hard to go to class, but at least you know what you are missing. Likes to use diagrams on the tests, but overall they aren't too hard.
