One of the best teachers ever. Absolutely beloved by Trinity students. Every fiber in that man's body is pure kindness. He's blind, but still grades 1000 pages in one night and very accurately. When library computers failed to help me with a project, I asked him and he overwhelmed me with pertinent information to assist me. Fantastic teacher.

This guy is boss. He takes such an interest in each person and really loves what he is talking about. Even if your answer is wrong, he will find a way to make it correct. He will bend over backwards to help a student out. Make sure you say hello to him outside of class because he will recognize you by your voice!

Dr. Rice is truly an amazing human being. He knows each and every person just by the sound of their voice (he's blind). He is one of the smartest people I have ever came across, and he will bend over backwards to make sure you succeed. I have had 2 independent courses with him and he is one of the main reasons why I have been successful.

Rice is an amazing man and great teacher! If you pay attention and take notes during the class, it is easy to get an A. You have to write about 3 1.5pg papers, but thats all the homework thats really necessary. The daily reading is helpful but really not necessary for succeeding in his class.

Dr Rice is amazingly talented, and has obviously overcome a lot in life. However, I don't feel that he's the greatest ever just because he's blind. He's very smart and knowledgeable, but that doesn't always make a good teacher. I found him hard to follow and very monotonous.
